Hi Christina, I think it's great that you're doing this video. I had pretty bad eczema, and like you, kept trying all sorts of creams, supplements, and treatments by various dermatologists. Some made my eczema even worse! I was fortunate that at the age of 16, a chance meeting with just another doctor to try figure this out got me to do a blood test (called the York blood test), that tested food allergies with my blood sample. What came up was that I shouldn't be consuming dairy or gluten. This completely changed my life as I had been having milk and bread every day. As you mentioned in your video, then moving to nutrition and cutting down food that causes inflammation, lactose and gluten has helped greatly. I'm glad you have decided to make this your KZbin video focus, as I believe it would help others with eczema. Just wished this video was made like ten years ago when I was suffering, lol!

Eczema for 55 years...vegan diet eradicated the problem. Not immediately, but a gradual improvement until it was completely gone. It has been years since I have had an outbreak. Never thought that would happen. I can "cheat" with no effect, but still am mostly Vegan, most of the time. Just one benefit of changing my diet, but a big one,

@dlxinfinite66236 жыл бұрын
We had them too. My baby is very allergic. We destroyed dust mites, mold, insects, critters and airborne allergens by using essential oils in a spray bottle...(preferably glass). The Final Solution? Use Tea Tree Oil, Eucalyptus Oil, Pepperint Oil.....along with Coconut Oil as a carrier. Spray your sheets, mattress, carpets, drapes several tines a day, or whenever. It's organic and safe. Kills odors and leaves a clean, non-chemical scent. It will clear your lungs and passageways too

I’ve noticed whenever I’ve eaten a large amount of dairy it’s definitely made my eczema flare up and now my diet has been dairy free for quite sometime it’s cleared up in some places, but I’ve now realised that the medication I take contains lactose, does anyone know if even a small amount can cause it? It’s frustrating because my eczema seems to get triggered by so many different things e.g. sweat, lack of sleep, cold weather. perfume/fragrance etc and those things aren’t really things I can control so it’s hard to tell if something is working or not.
@silhouette31113 жыл бұрын
All of the triggers you listed can be avoided, for cold weather try getting a humidifier since the dry weather can definitely cause a flare up. Switch perfume if you get a bad reaction and lack of sleep is really bad for you general health so definitely prioritize a good night's sleep by turning off electronics at least 2 hours before bed.

It’s interesting how each person needs their own tailored diet. I start eliminating in May and I’m ending up in September with my strict “Celeri/fennel/avocado + white with or shrimp with olive oil and sea salt” Olives and cucumber are ok. Mct oil So no carbs no dairy no red meat no chicken no dark fish no spices to herbs It sounds so crazy and not reasonable 😂 But my skin is saying thank you. I put olive oil and lavender essential oil on it. I’m looking forward to introduce new food 😊

A while back I also developed KP on my arms so i thought may be I need to take more greens since I only have one serving of vegetables throughout the day (here in my country the meals served meat with very little vegetables)) so I tried aking wheatgrass an/or barley green to make it up. I noticed it helps to reduce and heal some kp. I ran out of those so I need to restock my supply & try for a longer period to see if really helps eliminate/reduce dry skin/eczema. Juice is good but I wouldn't recommend you to take too much as I learnt from some doctors juices acrylic triggers insulin to rise quickly.

I adjusted my diet and noticed results. After it improved, i went back to my normal diet and noticed lesser flare ups. But not until this year (Nov 2016), my eczema worsened again on certain spots. I am currently adjusting back to eczema-friendly diet again. However, I live in Singapore where we have summer all year round and the weather can be really terrible sometimes. Anyway, I would like to ask what kind of coconut oil do you use? Are those for cooking/baking acceptable? Or must it be from drug store? Or so long as it is pure coconut oil it is ok? hi! both my son (2yra old) and my daughter (1 yrs old) is having eczema since they were born. they are still drinking formula milk (my son) n breastmilk (for my daughter? if dairy free is the best for them to cure their eczema. is cutting milk from their diet is okay for them? they really hate to eat they veggies or vegan diet.

You should consult a pediatrician. But, I'd wager the doctor will advise against that. My recommendation is to keep going with the dairy milk until they're old enough to go off it -- say 10 years of age or so. Meanwhile, try eliminating other things from their diet. Things like MSG, soy, and fermented foods are known to contain amines, which can make eczema worse. Natural castor oil can be applied to the problem area to reduce the symptoms. In some cases, it can even completely cure eczema in a week or so. Drinking pure apple cider vinegar can also help. Dilute a table spoon of apple cider vinegar in 250 ml of water and drink it with a straw (to keep it from damaging the teeth) in the morning. Make sure the apple cider vinegar still has the mother in it. But I personally think they shouldn't be subjected to this treatment until they're at least 7 years of age -- their esophagus linings still too fragile.

Free from carbohydrat food such as bread, rice, grain, peanuts. Avoid glucose . I suffered from skin problem fr 5 yrs. Eat more fruits and vegetables and drink a lot of home made juices. If you could find soursop fruit make juice out of it...this will kill your skin disease faster. For skin treatment use coconut oil. As I am living in the tropical country I make my own coconut oil...I mix it wiz cloves ( we hv bunch of them here) and a little fresh tumeric. After 3 - 4 days my skin start peeling off. Try this remedy!! Remember avoid eating sugar and meat this a must. Good luck

Does eliminating meat help with eczema. I heard of many people going vegan to eradicate eczema but I’m wondering if it needs to be that extreme
@911Salvage6 жыл бұрын
Going vegan might help. I've seen testimonies of people completely eradicating eczema after going vegan. But, my cousin has been vegan the last 8 years or so and yet she still has eczema. There's no harm in trying; just approach it with an open mind.

How about a vegan diet which is low in inflammation.
@911Salvage6 жыл бұрын
There are vegans suffering from eczema. My cousin is one example. She's been vegan for more than 8 years but she still has eczema. Everybody is different; what works for one person won't necessarily work for others.
@ThomasG_Nikolaj6 жыл бұрын
Mouldy CPU a vegan diet can be beer and potato chips, whole foods plant based high carb low fat will work. Not junk food vegan
