I had the pink funnel thing for so many years with my dolls and toys and never knew what it was for. NOW I KNOW! It was for my water baby! Which you're right, it didn't do anything, just made the doll heavier. Still fun though. Although, I am glad I didn't have THAT particular one...

I work at McDonald’s. You’d be happy to know the happy meal boxes are still very much a thing we have /we also still use those design cups as the courtesy cups for employee drinks/
