Kickflip, please show me where these chips can be used on the example of your game. To be honest, I'm a terrible fist, and teammates often accuse me of losing games to them, but I want to learn how to play for a fist. Thank you for creating your guides.

I used to be a terrible fist as well. Everybody starts somewhere, just keep practicing and you will improve over time!! I could definitely show gameplay in the future :) Good luck!

These are much easier an usable in real games for me than the diag punch spots! I lever can land the diag punchs in game

In the menus, next to arcade is the custom game browser,. click on that then click the top right that says create game. then you can change map and cooldowns in the custom game's settings! Hope this helps :)

Would you be able to do a Doomfist fundamentals video, that focuses more on getting value from abilities, Doom's role in the game, positioning tips, maybe matchups etc. All these rollout / tech videos you do are amazing - however they're a little bit gimmicky. Super powerful when a situation presents itself, but if you hard focus them instead of the fundamentals you will be flying around the map with little impact. I'm pretty decent mechanically but struggle providing value to my team when I play as Doom vs an Orisa, since she lacks flashy techs it allows me to focus on providing high value through my kit instead of flying around the map at mach 5. Great vid by the way, keep at it.

I can definitely make a fundamentals video! A few I can give you right now is play as aggressively as you can WITHOUT getting punished. Make you you have an escape ability for example, slam in then punch out or punch in then slam out. Slamming in is better for engaging unless you are empowered. Make sure to use punch to knock enemies out of position or off highground. Play around corners, doomfist has low hp so dont stand in the open... Hope this helps, not sure when the fundamentals video will come out but good luck!

@@kickflipow I appreciate the advice. I think evaluating the positives and negatives of his combos is good, I've often heard the opposite of "slam in first", the reason being that punching out is missed damage, whereas if you are able to slam out you can turn around and hit the approaching enemy with your shockwave. But often times you aren't in a position to be able to hit on the way in with a punch, so if you're at a further distance or they're on a high ground with no opportunity for a diagonal punch, slamming in and punching out is appropriate for poking then, or if you're full committing then slamming in is advisable anyway if you don't have empowered punch for the extra shield and so it's off cooldown sooner for an exit if you start losing the fight.

@@kickflipow I think my main issue is I'm too self conscious with Doom - since I'm new, playing aggressive causes me to feed sometimes, so instead I'm trying too hard to play him like other tanks - holding space when on defence when in reality the way he "holds space" is to cause havock on the back line. If you can't full commit and use his abilities effectively, you should be playing another tank. Throwing for the first 10-50 games is just the price of admission for Doom, you have to test your limits with his aggression so you get exposure and get better at the playstyle that benefits him the most.

I also worry that whilst I'm trying to commit to that aggressive playstyle, I'm leaving my team without a tank, I prefer to be a team player so I feel bad about this but sometimes it's the only way to play doom, otherwise you get no value with his kit.

​@@maxisqtI've started to play doom 2 weeks ago I recommend watching getquakedon and zbra doom guides as they go in depth on how to play doom, also I recommend playing doom more aggressive than passive, you'll find yourself feeding more but you'll learn how to stop
