I feel your pain... Just got my Avalanche back from the shop. Took everything out so now l'm working on getting it back together. Fixing some of my stuff l rushed things since it's all apart. All l can say is to take your time and get it right so you don't have to tear into it again... Good luck! Bass breaks everything!!

gm using the typical c clip plastic to hold in rod use ca glue to set these in to not move at all the clips are replaceable so no worries there, also deadener all 3 sides of door, [ i don;t have door issues as you know] with my lil set up, see at next show

Hot glue and jb weld is all that’s holding my truck together lol. But lack of access to this area can be troublesome. Someone mentioned to me the idea of installing a secondary cable as a back up.. just in case this happens and your window doesn’t roll down…. I believe i saw this again in the all black Tahoe project on Facebook.

In my head I'm thinking drill a small hole in the rod and run a pin through it because it does go into that plastic grip piece that rotates. It's no present now so I need for it to stay in and rotate when you pull the handle.
