Hi, I’m a grandma from NY … I know nothing about scrapping, but I enjoy watching what you all find. It’s interesting to see what each of you take or leave behind. Mike in Texas loves conduit and wire, also takes garage sale items. The guy from Canada collects bottles and cans, does clean outs for the scrap. Another takes pallets of a certain size, and items set out by homeowners. Anyway, it’s fun to guess who wants what! Best of the New Year to you!

On the gummies give them to a food pantry. Don't worry about a profit on that. With food and Snacks this helps alot of low income families. That good deed will come back 10 fold my friend Everytime. It really does. That little bit can make a huge difference and bring more joy than you think. I personally do the recycling to help our Cub Pack and environment. I keep nothing for myself. I'm widowed with 2 small kids girl/boy. I pay for my own tools and vehicle. I don't have extra for anything. My reward is the joy it brings the few kids we have, most come from low income families and without the recycling they would miss a lot. All the physical pain I suffer when doing this makes it worth it. The smallest of things make the biggest difference. God's Blessings my friend.!

Actually a buddy of mine watched the video and asked about it. He grabbed the large boxes and will make something out of it. I don't have the room to store stuff like that out of the weather, and doubt they would sell well as pieces ( I have tried), so I am glad he was able to get it. I don't eat a lot of candy, but I like finding it and giving it away. So far I have found Kit-Kats, Snow Caps, Skittles, Chocolate Covered Almonds, among other things. A nice deviation from scrap!

Thanks for saving the landfills. I will definitely go through your other videos as well, I like these kinda videos

Thanks for the sub! I just look around for industrial dumpsters and not so much retail ones. My main goal is to find scrap but come across a lot of resell-able items. I sell some on FB marketplace and also sell on eBay. If it doesn’t sell I scrap it out. I started keeping good wire to strip, but don’t know when I will find the time to strip it. I clean up all other wire and sell it to the scrap yard. This started as a hobby and for fun but has escalated to decent money for what it is. I will keep doing it while it is fun and I enjoy it.
