Another good tip would be to pick up single pieces (often the sets get split up) and hoard them as you find the matching pieces, then sell when the set is complete!

When stacking bowls to show the set, cut pool noodles and use those to cushion and raise the bowls. Pool noodles are super cheap - $1.00 at the Dollar Tree.

OMG... My kitchen is loaded was quite a few of the pieces you featured. The set pieces I have Cayman multi colors, red blue yellow green. I also have the divided vegetable dish with l i d. They all have different patterns on the outside. I picked up most of the pieces in the seventies when I started housekeeping. Got them at yard sales and thrift stores. The most expensive ones where the divided vegetable dishes that I paid $2 each for. The color on some things has faded. Thanks for sharing, didn't know I had a gold mine in the kitchen! And yes I do use them for everyday, great for heating stuff up in the microwave, storing in the freezer and of course the refrigerator dishes.

I found vintage pyrex from the 70's still in its unopened box, a whole set of casserole dishes and some bowls. Sold for big $$.

I looked up my Pyrex casserole my mother gave me before she died. I figured out it is a pattern called Lace Medallion or White Lace. It is of extreme sentimental value to me. I was born in 1961 and remember it on the dinner table my entire life. It is in old home movies from the 50s. I had no idea it was valuable. As a young bride I had the cornflower set and the spice set. I probably gave them away during moves in the 80s and 90s. Fascinating video. Thank you!

I see the Pyrex Amish designs (very common) on eBay for max $25. A few other patterns listed for up to $95. Most listed for peanuts.

That blue snowflake was an unusual shape, that is why the price was so high and as for the tiny butterprint, the 440 in any print will go for loads of money as that size isn't one of the regular ones. Very few in that size in any print were made.

One of my pet peeves is people who finally sell something and they get so excited and post it on the groups as a BOLO! I get sick of seeing that. HOWEVER, this video is, indeed the posterchild for a BOLO video. I learned a lot from this and will now BOLO for Pyrex like this. Thank you sir.

I just looked at a bunch of Pyrex on ebay. The same pieces were selling for $15 and $20 and some a little more but nowhere close to the hundreds mentioned in this video. I don't know where they would sell for so much more.

You have to look at sold listings only as that's the only way to know what they actually sold for. Active listings haven't sold, and starting prices mean nothing. All of the ones shown in the video sold for the prices stated on eBay. I only show actual sold eBay listings in my videos.

I’m not seeing those prices on the Amish butterprint mixing bowls. Cinderella or otherwise. I own a set of them so I was curious. I use mine so not reselling, but made me curious when watching your video. I see prices in the $25 - $35 range and maybe $135 - $140 for a whole set of them. Turquoise and white ones alike.

Black is what we use. You should be able to find them in packs of 4. Walmart even carries them. I don't think it matters the color though as it's the chemicals in them.

Alison Curtis most do say Pyrex on the bottom. I believe the small bowl with the strawberries was the only one Don said didn’t have a mark (there may be more). Once you see Pyrex in person, they are easy to spot, there’s not much else out there like them.

These are all eBay sold items straight from eBay. You need to look at sold listings NOT active. I have link do here in the comments section as well that will take you straight to the actual items shown in this video on eBay. So yes they do sell as shown. eBay doesn't make up fake sold listings.

That's an interesting question. Have you tried selling them in Israel? Domestic shipping only? I bet they would sell for similar prices. Be sure to look at Sold listings within your country when trying to see value on individual items.

judith, yes they are straight from eBay sold listings. Keep in mind that some items may have dropped off the site due to ending listings only being shown for 90 days. If you are doing research open two windows up when you search one for only sold listings, and one for completed. Then compare the amount of the item you are looking for that sold with those that didn't. This will give you a average sell through rate for the item or category you are looking for. Then look at sold to see the value. If you still aren't sure due to low amount of listings of a scarce or rare item then check Terrapeak, and active listings to see if any other are around.
