Yes, always check that clear glass section. I recently found a Lalique ashtray for $1, I'm hoping it will sell for $50 - $75. You just never know! As for plates and dishware, a BOLO brand is Heath Pottery out of California. I picked up two small plates for about $2, sold the pair for $100. They look fairly plain and I just happened to pick one up and idly check the mark; I had never heard of that brand before. Well worth a pickup,

Sometimes i make best friends when shopping at thrift stores... usually older generation lol we'll just chat about what we have in our carts and vintage things. Anyway, I passed by this butter dish that i was trying to decide if i should grab it, or not... i did leave it but kept thinking about it so I new I had to go back to get it... I was too late. This super amazing older lady had grabbed it.... Anyway, i got chatting with her and I made a comment that I was going to go back to grab the butter dish that she had, but was too late. She grabs it from her cart and hands it to me. Bless her precious soul ❤️ she new I was starting to collect things to resell and she said she already had a butter dish, so she gave it to me. Anyway, I was in a different thrift store the other day and they had that exact butter dish behind a counter selling for $40... now I know I can raise the price on what I had in mind lol honestly, meeting and chatting with the seniors about our scores amd vintage things is probably my most favorite part about it all. Plus, they know what's up with vintage things and give good tips

Did you mention the platform all these "sold" are from? Hey I have that exact tall cobalt bud vase! Those thin bowls are for flowers - a single rose, likely for a wedding table decoration. When looking at the sold price, you have to take into consideration the shipping cost. A lot of the higher priced sales have free or low shipping, while the ones that look like they sold for a low price have exorbitant shipping fees, making the sales price much higher than it appears.

You and I go to some of the EXACT same Goodwills, as I have seen some things in your videos that I've left on the shelves ... lol. Anyways, about 3(?) months ago it seemed like lots of attitudes and prices went WAY up. For me, that changed a Daily Stop after the Post Office into a "Let's give this another try," Stop about once every week or two. Honestly, it's better that way, as I am grinding through my death pile, but I really miss that Daily adrenaline rush. I'm 100% ok with them raising their prices and making a run at selling lots of things on E-bay, because they will soon realize that E-bay percentages, shipping costs, returns, and the costs of paying people to be skilled workers to source, list, ship, and handle those things is not as profitable as just slapping random price tags on things and burning them through thier retail stores. We just have to wait out the storm.

I like mugs too and find the special ones hard to resist…even if I really don’t need anymore mugs in my inventory. Sometimes I end up keeping some of the ones I find for myself, but that means I have to remove or donate some others in my cabinet as I just don’t have anymore room for any extras. I think mugs purchased for resale now have to be VERY special and/or in-demand (and that demand comes and goes.) Laurel Burch mugs are still very popular and I just sold a mint one for $15 + shipping for it(paid $2 or $3 for it.)
