I hit like as soon as I seen this...I recently moved from KC to Phoenix and never noticed how much of a BBQ snob I was until moving away.....this place was my absolute favorite outside of backyard BBQ!! Fyi...backyard BBQ in KC is THE BEST EVER!! Everyone knows how to grill/smoke in KC 🤣🤣 P. S. GO CHIEFS!! ❤️ 💛 ❤️ 💛

I can vouch for the burnt ends at Q39. Was in KC for work and had some. Best burnt ends I've had anywhere were there...even among the other KC bbq places I tried.

What kind of knife is it that the chef is using? Where can I get one?

Im here to tell you everybody in kansas city has a grill and we know how to use them. Me if its not coal and wood chips your wasting your time, oh a hint. Never clean the grill. You can clean the wire grate but not the lid where the smoke built up the thicker it get the more flavor goes into your meats. If you got chunks peeling off tap the lid once on the ground to knock off the loose stuff. But don't clean it. After a few years your grill will put off so much flavor you'll even get some without chips for smoke, oh soak your chips in warm water put the lid on and cover the hole so it can't get out untill the flame up Stops the open it slightly when it stops smoking flip the meat and add more chips. Cant add too many chips.
