I got a bag of Korean pancake cookie things the other day and there was a warning on it that said it could contain arsenic! Of course I didn’t notice the warning until I was 3/4 through eating the bag! I know sometimes it’s just like extreme precaution when it’s foreign food, but I couldn’t get it out of my head so I threw the rest away.

omg! my biophysics professor said that an extremely small amount of arsenic in a growing person's body is essential for them to stimulate the growth hormone, but more than that, it can be fatal. also, arsenic's potency is related to your weight. for example, if you're chubby, you'll need more arsenic for it to kill you, and vice versa. any less than that can cause permanent damage in the worst-case scenario.

I looked up the ingredients of Coffeemate as I was intrigued by them being able to lie on the label. It's even worse than you'd think, they're allowed to lie on the nutritional facts as well. The "Nutritional Facts" say there is 0g of Trans Fat, Polyunsaturated Fat, Monounsaturated Fat in one unrealistically small 1 tsp (2 g) serving. As mentioned in the video, this is entirely incorrect. It also claims there is 0 mg of Sodium, a quick look at the ingredients list will show that that's obviously untrue. In addition to the two ingredients with sodium in their names, a third ingredient also contains sodium - dipotassium phosphate. 0 g of Sugars, the first ingredient corn syrup solids is 100% sugar, a mix of fructose and glucose. The label says there is 1g of carbohydrates per serving, practically all of that will be from the corn syrup. So while it says 0g of Sugars it's actually 50% sugar! For some reason the US government lets you put as much corn syrup solids in your product as you like and still claim it doesn't contain sugar...lobbying I assume. Ingredients (Coffeemate original) CORN SYRUP SOLIDS, HYDROGENATED VEGETABLE OIL, SODIUM CASEINATE, 2% OR LESS OF DIPOTASSIUM PHOSPHATE, SODIUM ALUMINOSILICATE, MONO- AND DIGLYCERIDES, ARTIFICIAL FLAVOR, ANNATTO COLOR.

That's the catch. People wised up and didn't want trans fats. The FDA allowed the 0.5 grams per serving, and companies shrunk the serving size, and covered their packages with 0 Trans Fats labels. A loaf of packaged bread with 40 slices of bread, will say 0, but contain 20 grams of trans fats. The RDA of trans fats, none, ever, they are bad. The government sells the people out totally, for corporate profit and convenience. I won't even go into the goods held together by Chinese men's hair, that claim to be food.
