I have these boots (the 8 metal stud variation of the soleplate), and they are easily some of the best and most durable boots I've ever had.. Highly recommended for anyone! I also have wide feet, and the leather DOES stretch well, but retains its structure, which is great.. (i use these for rugby)

Can you explain what are the benefict os the metal studs??? i never understood why, because imo it only brings more weight to the boots since the metal sutds are heavier than plastic studs. P.S. i know that metal studs are often longer than normal studs because of the soft ground, but couldn´t the brands just make longer plastic studs???

Metal studs just penetrate the ground better, digging deeper, allowing for better traction. There's also the issue of stability and overall strength on the stud when they get to a certain length, so plastic isn't ideal for that.

Nobody carries them in North Amercia at the moment. They were available at a few retailers a couple years ago, but they didn't sell well at all, so they stopped carrying them. Same goes for most of Europe.

The tongue is different and the amount of padding in the heel area is a little different, but that's about it. If there are other changes, they are extremely minor.

I know that its not the top model, but the longest ive ever had football shoes is 1 year. The thing is that im thinking of investing alot of money in new football shos that will last awhile. I couldn't predict how long they'll last. The quality is arguably the best, so there's that. The thing is, if you're hard on your boots, which it sounds like you are, and you play a lot always in the same pair, your boots will break down more quickly, no matter what boots you buy.

Not necessarily. Boots will impact your feel for the ball, but ultimately your touch is on you, imo. If you like the way a boot feels, can that help your touch? Sure it can. But I don't think that any one boot will completely ruin your ability to control the ball.

Mizuno is lacking endorsers. It is a grat brand but people (espcially most teenagers) neglects it and buys Nike's or adidas instead. On my U15 team, I am the only one wearing Mizuno.

I’ve been saying for a long time that Mizuno deserves to be a bigger name. But who knows, maybe they prefer being a smaller more “boutique” brand. I feel so gutted right now .... messi doesnt deserve this. I feel so so so sorry for him. The world cup was the only thing he ever wanted. He had a option to wear the Spanish jersey.. but no he always wanted to represent his country . Thats the love he has for his motherland.
