The Hyundai car commercial is one of the best I have ever seen - such an unexpected twist (to say the least). Husband and wife have a toyboy each...'Vattenfall' (= Waterfall) is a government-owned power company. 'Metro' was a daily free newspaper, available in major cities. In Sweden it's compulsory to pick up the poop from your pet (usually done with black plastic bags) and put it in special waste bins. The ad with the woman getting a hair makeover was from the association of barbers.

the last one is company that replaces windows 24/7 that what "jour" means that they are allways avalibale, the commercial just points to them getting there and doing there job replaceing the glass fast.

I think most of these are from the 90’s and they have been translated in to english later on for foreign markets and to compete in international competitions, so when they were on tv in Sweden they were in swedish😊

In Sweden, if you are cruel to your dog, you aren't allowed to keep it. That commercial with the eye seeing dog was very old. I've never seen it, and I'm 34 years old. My guess is that even back then, Swedish people disliked when a dog was being yelled at, and related it to when they do their job well and their boss yells at them anyway. "If you dislike your job, change to a better job" is kinda the slogan.

Metro is a subway company. Only Sweden's biggest cities have subways. But on the country side you take the bus. The woman with the trash bag is probably from a city, since she picks up poo in a bag (like you do with dog poo). Because you don't pick up poo when you're on the country side (just imagine having to pick up all the horse poo when you're out riding). She's right next to a fence for cows/horses, so it probably smells like poo around there, even if she picks up poo from the road.

The English translation of 'vattenfall' is 'waterfall'. Lots of Sweden's low carbon emission power supply comes from the company Vattenfall.
