Hanoi Rocks was insanely influential band in Asia and also in the US music scene. For example, Guns n' Roses members were massive fans of Hanoi Rocks and they copied a lot from them as tribute. Hanoi Rocks is indeed also often credited to be the main influencer for the birth of Visual Kei movement in Japan

Cisse Häkkinen from Hurriganes is the first ever REAL rock star from Finland. May he rest in peace. Also the guitarist, Albert Järvinen, is dead. He died in London, same street than Jimi Hendrix. Cisse was 39 years old when died and Albert wast 40 years old. Rock and roll life is not easy :)

We do also have "tangomarkkinat" which is one of the biggest annual singing competitions in Finland. And those tangos they sing in competition are in finnish (language).

The band name became Hurriganes because English wasn't their strong suit.

@@MaxSujyNorden Yes and they write band name Hurriganes. They first write it like that and leave it becauce it looks stronger. Singer/ drummer mr. Remu Aaltonen (76) is still here with us. He did not speak english first so lyrics are quite fan earlier songs. I was ten when they started so Hurriganes be there all my teen + years. Check out album Roadrunner, it is The Rock.
