Sonic runners Is honestly one of the best sonic mobile games. But it was weighed down by the fact that you needed to be online to play it. And eventually they added a update where if your just doing really good they'll add like a wall of spikes to end your run. So with that the game kinda just died. But fans took it upon themselves to revive the game with they're own servers. And they're even adding new characters to it too

@@MarcoMeatball not a $90 mount, instead its $90, for like what, 30 - 40 pulls with a chance even lower than irl gambling of getting something that you want? Oh, and the mandatory dupe system too, that almost all gachas have. Most western games with loot boxes and microtransactions dont get anywhere close from being a money sink as big as gacha games.
@milesprower611016 күн бұрын
@@MasterP86 Something that really has nothing wrong with it when done right? Like, we can understand if you want a certain character, but the game is called gacha, if you don't like sports, you don't go playing sport games and complain. They will add "pity" systems for those who complains so much for random to not be random... you can still beat the game with the free resources you get and can get. And personally, best gachas imo are the ones that don't beg you to pay and it's simply there, if you want to progress or level up what you already have, playing is the only choice like happens with Fate GO. People literally recommends and do complete stories by using the 1~3 star rated characters that only can be get in the exclusively no-pay gacha (exceptions with 3 stars than can appear in the main resource using banners)
@squiddu14 күн бұрын
@@milesprower6110 it's still really hard to see the appeal in some of them, because in all honestly a lot of people pay money specifically to see models of random anime girls, but even if the gameplay is decent enough, it's just.. do we really need gacha stuff like that? games where people more susceptible spend money on useless things they don't need to because it's effectively a form of gambling? and that's the main issue for me, they're still made with the purpose to suck a particular few in who can't help it and spend unhealthy amounts of money. no, some adults shouldn't be allowed to touch these games. some people just aren't capable of breaking out of the loops.
@MasterP865 күн бұрын
@@milesprower6110 and a great way to miss the point. The original comment talked about not complainning anymore after seeing what western live service games are doing. My point is that most gachas and the gacha model are still worse and a bigger money sink filled with way worse examples than a overpriced mount, when compared to most western live service games or games in general. "If you dont like sports games, you dont go playing sport games and complain". Gacha is a monetization model, not a genre, and nothing from it stops someone from criticizing it.

Like, going off the ones I recall that were covered: - Between Two Worlds (Canto III Final Boss) - Dongbaek's Theme (Canto IV Mid Boss) - Distorted Dongrang's Theme (Canto IV Penultimate Boss) - Compass (Canto V Final Boss) - Erlkönig (Music for Canto VI Finale) - Audite Pauper and Vovete Miserias (Railway 4 Final Boss) - The Barber's Theme (Canto VII First Boss) - Sancho's Theme (Canto VII Penultimate Boss) Most of them are battle themes. Very important battles, too. If you want a change of pace I liked Reminiscence (Full version), S.E.A. I think my favorite ost related moment from the community remains when the high level version of the grand order raid dropped with the track "armageddon" and everyone collectively went "Is that Emi Evans???" It was,in fact,emi evans. From the non vocal heavy tracks in granblue ,"The fifth primarch" from the first what makes the sky blue event remains one of my favorites.

That moment at 24:04 still makes me tear up a bit almost every time I hear it. Been playing GBF for... a while, and that reminds me of when I'd just started. Such a beautiful piece. Also makes me think of how Gran's (the player character in GBF) theme in the fighting game, "Such a Blue Sky", is a rock adaptation of this song mixed with Battle 1. It's another great piece. When it comes to Honkai Star Rail, there's another song in the OST that also has a name inspired by literature. It's "Hope Is the Thing With Feathers" , which is the name of the one of the songs but also the title of a poem by Emily Dickinson. Although, one of the best songs in HSR, in my opinion, has to be "Serene Stroll". It's a gut punch after playing through some of the sidestories in the Xianzhou, but it's just such a beautiful and melancholic melody even without the context of the story. And , while all the songs I've mentioned in this comment are definitely worth listening to, there's many other gachas out there with amazing music. One of my favorites is Guardian Tales, especially it's main theme. I really recommend listening to it's full OST. Could even make a Part 2 *wink wink*

a gacha game with a great soundtrack is Octopath Travelers of the Continent! i’d highly recommend the Sazantos battle theme, specifically the second version!

Id comment what i send on the vod again, but i cant really remember it word for word. But there is a reason the music youve listened to for limbus is the way that it is. There is a reason that sanchos theme sounds like 2 song beating each other up

Shout out to steparu GFL gameplay. Was that his first video of the game? Because that UI and gameplay has to have been from an early version. I am saying this as a day 1 EN release player. My first gacha and i was loyally logging every day up until around the 6th anniversary or so. What a ride. SOP2 best girl.

Hey Marco, have you heard of the Indie game Nine Sols. It is a very good metroidvania that laucnhed a couple of months ago, and it is very beatiful. Anyway I think that you should hear the piece "The path for us all" Yi's Theme, it is very beatiful

16:24 This song is super good and there is a longer version on the MSR channel too. However I don’t know why this song didnt get a lot of community attention unlike Adam previous song like signore del lupi for example

Well to be fair, Sancho's theme there is a 3 part ost, which is probably why it was so constant in it's rhythm and stuff, you know? The one you listened to is the full, uncut version where all parts are combined

There is a song from Girls' Frontline called Slow Shock, i recommend it. I listen it for several days and can't have enough. Also, i'm quite surprised that u never review one of Arknights OST's called Towerfierce. It's just awesome. I HIGHLY recommend it (thou it's a matter of taste)

So. SEGA made a Shin Megami Tensei gacha game. Using resources of Yakuza music team for OST.. You can check Alter-World main theme or Hollow World Battle theme.

Also give the gacha game “Another Eden” a listen… as one of the main composers is Yasunori Mitsuda who also made *checks notes* CHRONO CROSS’S SOUNDTRACK
@BlackdragonTheShadowАй бұрын
Oh I should also mention that there’s actually a few people who worked on Chrono cross and Chrono Trigger who worked on Another Eden…

This. A lot of AE's tracks are on the more generic side of things but none of them missed. The Elzion Mythos and Apocrypha probably have the best tracks in the entire game.

Need you to check out some of the music from Yugioh Duel Links. Fantastic soundtrack, especially the individual character themes

speaking of sonic gacha, Sonic did a collab with another gacha called Last Cloudia in which we get to see some 2d pixel Sonic moving like he's in Frontiers as well as Tails and Knuckles

I would have loved to see Infinity Nikki on here! Especially the main theme and the song that plays during the Paper Crane flight in the Dream Warehouse!
