For more info, Vashta Nerada are a microscopic (thing? its not really clear *what* they are) that look like shadows in large groups. The dust thing that you mentioned is just the observation that sometimes "dust" is just really small groups of them. I think the more interesting thing about Vashta Nerada is that they are the reason that the fear of the dark exists in universe which I think is hilarious. (For those curious Vashta Nerada translates literally to "The Shadows that Melt the Flesh")

I enjoyed The Witness. But I don't remember the ending. Probably because it was so random. As for the Metal Gear cutscenes being half an hour that reminds me of when I first finished the 2019 Blair Witch game. You get to the house that's at the end of The Blair Witch Project and Blair Witch (2016) thinking okay the games nearly over. It was like 11 PM and I told myself I was just gonna beat the game now. That house segment took another two or three hours.

4:25 I remember an oldish Extra Credits vid that talked about this game. iirc, the game is about personal obsession of some kind? The game has you do fairly simple puzzles in special boards that make sense to inform the player of where they are. But at several moments there’s puzzles that are in the world around you and you have to view the environment in specific ways in order to see and interact with them The video that plays is what the creator of the game sees in everyday life, where these puzzles are everywhere and you’re supposed to understand since he was training you to see the same puzzle in the real world. A better way to explain it; y’know how when the Among Us brain rot was at an all time high and people saw Crewmates in objects like fire extinguishers, trash cans, mailboxes, etc? He was trying to make that, but on purpose

All endings in Drakengard Are canon. Ending A leads to Drakengard 2 Ending B and C are the apocalypse of that universe. Ending D "chill beats to end time to" Ending E has Caim falling to the NieR universe. I beat Drakengard last year (all endings) and it's honestly the greatest game I've ever played. People over exaggerate how bad the combat is so much I went in expecting the worst and found it was just mediocre so it felt great.
