That star thing gave me a weird challenge idea where the challenger must put a little paint to every location behind enemy lines before attacking said location. Probably impossible but hey, so were most others you did.

how about (as an APM handicap) a challenge where Thermie does whatever he likes, but every move command must end in a star... oh, no. no, no, no, too horrible. Your one, too hard, I think, since no SCV is going to make it far enough into a base to do the paint, but... how about a ground-attack challenge where every base attack is led by an SCV?

One possible change to the rules to deal with skytoss is allowing liberators for anti-air. In combo with EMP and dorito dust, ~15 libs shred carrier clumps like you wouldn't believe. It would require you have a good eco lead in order to make the tech switch, but that keeps it challenging.

Mildly insane challenge idea, where you can build any unit type but only one of each at a time. Imagining a campaign hero squad dropping in but would likely just be a defeat sentence.

How about, no unit besides an scv can be made without making an equal amount of them, compared to all your other units. So, you can make 50 marines, but if you wanted to make a medivac, you need to make... 50 of them. You could have 25 marines and 25 hellions, or you build up banshees, marines and vikings together. Whatever the comp, you always make equal amounts.

marine/maruader/ghost/medivac might not be that bad. Could even add in widow mines and hellions for harassment. But always in totals of... whatever total you've gotten to at that point in the game (unless some of your most plentiful units are killed, then the equal number total drops with it). Seems a bit complex at first, but it's really not.

Spore-crawler, Range 7, Sight & Detection 11, detects only when rooted. Ghost, also Sight 11, so if the Ghost can't see the spore, then neither is he detected.

Should allow just 1 medivac for this challenge. Units disappear into the medi, so IMHO that counts as cloaked. Would be nice to have a bit of healing for ghosts and more ways to sneak in nukes via drops!

I alwys wonder why in 1 vs. 1 games you make your defense from the first base and not the second one, usually maps allow very easily to make the defense wall starting it from the second base
