I hope no one laughs at me, but I’m 69, alone, and I could watch you all day. Some days, I binge watch you!! You bring back so many memories of my being raised on a farm. Dad raised race horses, specialty pheasants, peacocks, donkeys, chickens, geese. You name it, we had it. Dad & I walked down to the river; so many good times. I miss those days so much. Isaac still carries such a presence. Although, I’d be amiss if I neglected to mention that it’s just not the same as it was before his extended excursion. I can only hope that the security of food and water and companionship somewhat makes up for his lost freedom.

Mini Donks and Charlie got the Zoomies today, that is just wild to watch and Charlie seems to have caught one of the turkey hens heart. Arms Family Farm was jammed packed with almost all the fur babies getting in on the action. 14 days ago raining and flash flooding, then back to the heat wave. It's been raining in the evenings this past week, but it still hits the triple digits here in NW Arizona. Y'al have a blessed week end, stay cool and hydrated!

I'd like to encourage people to raise Katahdin sheep. IMO, too many youtubers raise goats, which are more expensive and difficult to raise. The breed was developed in Maine, United States. This winter in TN, it got very cold, down to -1F, but out of 25 lambs, we only lost 2 - and it was not from the cold. The breed was developed by selecting based on hair coat, meat-type conformation, high fertility, and good flocking instinct. The Katahdin sheds its winter coat in the spring, and so does not have to be sheared. The Katahdin's hair can come in most any color. They are also resistant to parasites - unlike the wool sheep varieties, Katahdin sheep are quite hardy. Most Katahdin ewes will have twins. Of the lambs born this year, we have had four sets of triplets, and several twins. And the lambs are very cute, and like to climb and skip around. Almost like goats.

As well as running an advertising campaign on someone else’s site to gain followers for yourself. The proper thing to do is ask before making a post like this would be best in my opinion. I would think it to be disrespectful to the page like Arms Family Homestead to run your campaign on their feed. I might be wrong but that is how I would feel if it were my page. Maybe I am out of line for speaking up but some people are to nice to say anything.

Charlie is practicing for his marathon! They can run as fast as 30- 35 mph. Fast sprint up to 43mph. He really puts a smile on your face! So cute!❤

It is so cool seeing Charlie run around! He definitely is a character and we look forward to seeing him! I always love to see you calling the goats! When our dairy cows got out, we would turn on the feeder to entice them back to the barn. Those were the days when the cows woke us up bawling in our yard. We would yell, The cows are out and got dressed in a flash.

I've been wondering, ever since I started watching your channel, if you ever had family in the Youngstown, Ohio area. We have a museum called The Arms Family Museum, named for a local family who lived in the house. It holds a lot of their personal possessions and tells lots of local history.

I wanted to give you a suggestion about the boo boo on Charlie’s head. Bag Balm works wonders on all kinds of sores and issues with animals and humans. It’s a small, square, green metal can and can be purchased at any farm supply. It is a must have when you have animals. Much love to you and your family. 😊

I hope Daniel gets another Emu. They're very sociable birds. And they liking having a mate (of their own species). We have 4 Emu's and 2 of them follow me around with our dog Abby. Abby is a Doberman and looks intimidating. However, she's quite friendly and has never shown aggression to a person or the other animals on our Ranch. She will protect and has chased off a fair amount of coyotes. But she's trained for that. Perhaps when two of our Emu's begin to lay eggs. We can send 4-6 to Daniel. Or two females are just coming into maturity, should start laying in a few months if not sooner. Of course no fee. We're not like that when it comes to our animals. We mainly have them, because my wife is a serious animal lover. She's a DVM. But she would prefer animals, over most people.
