I think you're near Baudette. Only 35 miles from there, roughly, is Sabaskong Bay with muskies. This is a reminder that I will mark a map for you. I see Oliva has some connections to the area. So I expect sooner or later you'll get up there for muskies. Good luck with all the new changes in your life, both fishing and non-fishing related. Those Sturgeon really fight. 😊

Being more of a musky nut, I was curious by the big contrast in catch sizes-if the Sturg’ population in your waters was more by natural reproduction or stocking?

natural reproduction ! slot makes it hard to keep population down. it’s only 50-55” so they keep breeding
