Viviz is formed from 3 out of 6 Gfriend members. Gfriend was an amazing group with an incredible discography (there are so much detail in the instrumentals, in my opinion the most well composed/produced songs in kpop, followed by Dreamcatcher). Viviz has a different vibe, it's not as good as Gfriend for my personal taste, but they are giving us some really great songs and performances. Kiss of Life is my favorite debut in recent times. So far they are doing everything right, there are no minors between the members, the songs are great, they have good performances and the company is doing an amazing job with MVs, etc. I have great expectations for their future. GFriend were legends of 3rd generation girl groups and won a poll in Korea in 2021 by a landslide for having the best discography in Kpop having 71 music show wins. They were famed for their live vocals and the most synchronised dancing in Kpop. Their music featured real instruments with lots of strings, piano and unexpected electric guitar riffs at times. If you decide to watch them at any point I recommend their last two songs Apple and Mago as well as their much earlier song Rough from 2016, which has their classic sound and portrays the message of friendship never dies. So true as it is nearly 3 years since they were forcibly disbanded and yet VIVIZ still say that they are part of GFriend and its leader Sowon is still the leader of VIVIZ even though she is not even a member of the group. They all meet up regularly still and posted the same OT6 pictures of themselves together on their social media to celebrate their 9th anniversary. So friendship is real and their love for each other just gets stronger. They will reunite again soon they say.

Kiss Of Life - they had their debut 6 months ago with "Shhh". On that album each member also has their own solo. The mv's are all connected which is super cool. So I recommend watching them in the following order: Natty solo, Belle solo, Julie solo, Haneul solo, Bye My Neverland, Shhh. - Nobody Knows is actually a continuation of the prerelease "Bad News". In that mv it shows more or less only the 'bad' parts of their actions, while in Nobody Knows you get the circumstances/full picture. So besides the social aspects displayed in the mv's, they also touch on the coloredness of news. Viviz - it is pronounced as VVZ (VeeVeeZee). - they debuted in February last year - all 3 members were from G-Friend (pronounced as Gee-Friend)

This this this! It is a fantastic debut album, with all six songs getting a MV. Here's some info on the members: Natty is the most famous one, and has been bouncing around Kpop companies for like a decade. We first saw her on Sixteen, competing for a spot in Twice, but despite being so talented to even make her own choreos at... 13, I believe? she was a bit too young. Next she was on Idol School, where fromis_9 was formed, but no luck. A bit later, she made a solo debut, then disappeared again till she surprised us in Kiss of Life (KIOF for short, for some reason). She's Thai, and the main dancer. Belle is your "who is that" - Annabelle Shim, "Belliana Grande", the KIOF main vocal from Seattle. Her father is also a singer, she has music in her blood. She used to work for SM as a songwriter, but then decided she could actually be an idol too; before her debut in KIOF, she wrote, among others, for Miyeon's solo album, and for Purple Kiss, but most famously, she collaborated on Unforgiven by Le Sserafim. Julie, another American, from Hawai`i; she used to be a Black Label trainee (Teddy's subsidiary of YG), which is how she is the main rapper. She is also the leader of the group. Haneul we know the least about. There were rumours she was a HYBE trainee, making KIOF a meeting point of big 4, but she denied it. Her official position is just maknae, but not for lack of skill. Although Belle and Julie are of Korean ancestry, Haneul is the only Korean in the group. Everyone calls her "Bob Sky" (because she is very focused on food, and Bob sounds like the Korean word for rice/meal, and because "haneul" means "sky").

Beyoncé’s choreographer Kany choreographed Maniac and their amazing B side performance video for Untie. They are even more dangerous in that video if you watch it. You like original and unique music so you may well like it as it is truly like nothing else in Kpop. She signed an exclusive contract with BPM 2 days ago as she fell in love with the members of VIVIZ when she worked with them on these 2 songs and said she couldn’t wait to work with them again. She said that they were just angels. She couldn’t believe that Kpop idols could be as talented as they are and yet still be so so humble and sweet. Her heart ❤️ was stolen and now she never wants to leave them hence why she signed a contract to allow her wishes to come true. All 4 of them went to a concert together on the very day of the announcement as if to show the world that they are the reason she has decided to commit herself to the one company. As one of the world’s most famous choreographers that is an enormous coup for such a small company as BPM. I am so happy 😀 and I cannot wait to see what they have in store for us next.

If you like Dreamcatcher, you might like Gfriend too. Since Dreamcatcher debuted, them and Gfriend have kinda been like the dark and light versions of each other. Gfriend uses less rock elements in their title tracks, but they both have a similar nostalgic, anime-sounding vibe to them at times.

Youre missing out horrifically on Kiss of Life, their Debut MVs and the whole 2 mini-albums are underrated and just recently theyre picking up traction in Korea due to them winning the equivalent of the Korean Grammys for ROTY

The high notes are Belle and Haneul, the whistle note specifically is Belle, she is known as an Ariana Grande of Kpop. The deeper voices are Julie and Natty, Julie is the rapper and leader (think Soyeon). The extreme uniqueness of this group is that every member has a part in every part of production, including writing, producing, choreography, and clothing.
