Man, that's the truth. The one thing I find with each type of video, how you act makes all the difference in the world. I had no idea I had a State Trooper running me down when I turned onto a twisty road to have some fun. I was knee down at speeds between 80-120mph. I stopped at the end of the road to restart the camera, heard a blip of the siren about 20 seconds after I stopped. That dude saw every bit of it. When he walked up, all I said (with humor) was "well, what are the odds you didn't see anything to arrest me for?". Dude just laughed and said "Hey, you're good. I saw enough to know you can ride pretty well. Just check your mirrors next time, alright!?" That was that. Got a written warning for passing 9 cars and achieving just shy of 150-ish (clicked to 6th, so that's up there in speed). Again, just about the same story. If you don't act like a douchebag, tends to go a really long way with police. I also know someone who has gotten several tickets for doing 7 over the speed limit. They tend to be defensive assholes with police...funny how that works.

I had a yellow light, but it turned red. I saw the traffic coming so I punched it to get ton the ramp. I used my right turn blinker, but didn't signal left when was getting on the ramp. Texas state trooper pulls up behind me. I thought he was after the white Lexus infant of me, so I pulled to the side but kept rolling. He came on the speaker and said "Red Mazda, stop the damn car." well shit. I stopped and gave him all my stuff. He came back 20 minutes later and said "Listen, you seem like a good kid. I got pulled over in a massively overpowered Toyota mini-truck back when I was 16 (a lifetime ago), that my buddy had just bought, & in a 3 lane city road in front of our high school, it was cop in left lane, our neighbor with his hydraulics up in the middle lane, and me n my buddy in his truck in the right lane (I couldn't see the cop). I did a MASSIVE, half sideways burnout across the intersection and then some, & immediately get pulled over. My friend is freaking out "They're gonna take my truck!!", & the cop comes up to us just smiling & shaking his head and asks, "didn't see me there? Why'd you do that?" Laid my head on the steering wheel and said "Because I'm a fucking retard." Cop starts busting up laughing, takes my license, goes to car, comes back a few minutes later, still laughing, and says "just get outta here" & gives back my license. Just goes to show that not being hostile and admitting to what you did can go a long ways usually. 😁

I was the same way caught going 93 in a 60. But I was in a pos escort zx2. He let me off and I was so grateful, fast forward about a month later I was ticketed for doing 14 over in a 45. Bruh. I’m still pissed. The cop did his job, but fuck the law, road laws are stupid if you ask me. I was going with the traffic, another guy going the same speed was pulled over as well, he got a warning, fuck that shit.
