A few years ago, my buddy and I were at a bike rally. Around 2am we left a club and as we were passing a bunch of sport bikes pulled over, he yelled something to them. My dad was rampaging on custom Honda 750 in the 70s. They lived on a farm off of thru way and prepared a concealed bike exit off the thru way onto the back of their farm. For years he'd get into chases, make his way to the thruway, beat the toll, outpace the cops, drive off and ditch his bike under concealment. When he finally got caught, the cops said they were going to arrest him and take his bike. He said "if you do that, you are going to have boring shifts. You like chasing me as much as I like running" and the cops let him go. He eventually ended up on a first name basis with them and knew where they lived. It is no longer the 70s.
