27:40 It's just how some people are. Some keep a presence of mind well or enter the "zone" and others' eyes just glaze over and they're a zombie until the hectic stuff is over. Maybe their ancestors needed to not panic in tense situations and they evolved an auto-shut down, who knows, but whatever the case some people really struggle to react or keep thinking about what they need to do in mobas.
@Mediocresinger3 жыл бұрын
Obviously this isn't a particularly common example, but people with PTSD may panic a lot more when playing games, even when what is being portrayed on screen has nothing to do with that trauma. I've seen plenty of people without it just panic too, especially perfectionist types with a fear of messing up. Also, his mad rant kinda annoyed me. "It's only a game", yet he gets angry very, VERY often when playing or even casting lower level games.

A little clarification unless it’s changed maladict damage isn’t based on damage taken but difference in health from when it was first applied. So stick mech and heal burst can mitigate its damage well if cast and you heal above what your health was when it was first applied. Unless they changed that recently in which case ignore me.

@@jjdude5531 i dont know man. I play smite, which is a baby game. A game with NO ACTIVE ITEMS, in which you can ask the game to automatically buy items FOR you any time you return to base. And i have friends that use this feature, that then get incredibly frustrated with the game because theyre getting hit by stuns and damage and they have NO idea where the fuck its coming from or what they should be avoiding because its scary, and they havent learned anything about itemization because the game does it for them. Joe can explain himself as much as he likes (and he doesn't often enough) but daf still isnt going to GET it because theres a much better player than him saying 'buy this do this' and hes just nodding and saying okay without thinking about it.

@@MultiCynicalBastard to be fair, Joe often gives reasons for it which is what Daf needs - in addition to raising his understanding of how items fit heroes or situations or enemies etc. It also makes him more likely to follow the advice (though that said, he often ignores advice anyway, both through choice and through being unable to focus on the game and the advice at the same time)

It's exhausting trying for 30 minutes for people to get together and finally finish off the game. Often times I have to take a break after a win because it's so much more exhausting than losing =D (probably very low MMR unranked, I haven't gathered enough hours to even get a rating yet)

As a League player, this series has been a nice reintroduction to Dota. The lower rank allows for more commentary on basic mechanics and concepts that you wouldn't talk about in high ranked games, which makes it easier to get into.
