This put me into tears! That’s absolutely true. Church people have the compassion to donate just to be recognized, but the real and sincere act of kindness isn’t in their heart. They tend to judge poor people without knowing what they’ve been true. The true words of Jesus is in the bible to put into action, not just to listen to it.

Sandra is an example of why I stopped going to church. I had been to 4 or 5 churches and it was always the same. There were too many judgemental people and cliques. It was full of hypocritical Christians who were Christians in church but were the worst human beings out of it. They had the same low opinion and often voiced it about the less fortunate and homeless. Around the holidays they made a big showing of taking care of those that needed it, but grudgingly delivered the gifts and packages. The grumbled about the living situations and neighborhoods. So... I stopped going. I couldn't find God in those places. I found in my heart and by doing good for others.

The case about the valuable ring actually happened a while ago. The story spread worldwide about how it happened and how the person returned it to the original owner. While living in Hamburg, 2006. My sons and I were away abroad for months studying. On my return, a letter from the Police was in our mailbox. I stopped by to ask why, the officer handed, me our mail also consisting of new unsigned credit cards from the bank for each of us. On asking how did our mail arrive at the local station. I was told it was handed into the drop-in clinic for addicted community members and if I need a friend these people are the most trustworthy they know. WOW, I cried on hearing this statement from the Police officer. I now live in NZ, crime is on the daily agenda amongst this small population, it's shameful. Window shopping at night is impossible as a senior & female this was a past-time I enjoyed in Europe while walking the dog, not possible here unless it's a lion on the end of the leash. The local Zoo said no to being a foster.

This is what I liked about this movie, was how the preacher said that someone reminded him of a scripture about treating people, take them in if they have no shelter, give me food if I have no food, cloth me if I have no clothes! This should mean a lot to different people, it does me it wouldn’t hurt other people to help if they can , I am unable to cause I’m not working at the moment so I’m unable to, But other people can….

While I strongly believe that we shouldn't judge homeless people till we know their story, we also cannot deny the fact that there are also those who were homeless since they suffer from drug addiction whose minds were destroyed by drugs and have resorted to a life of crime to get by. So sometimes can't really blame people for either being careful or afraid of them. I have read stories of someone trying to help a homeless that resulted to being attacked, robbed, and beaten. Worse that person can even end up dead. So the stories presented here are the "ideal" scenario, but it is not always the case in real life.

The woman in this first video is a perfect example of what I’ve been saying. It’s not everyone, but the ones who do it are usually the ones who are the loudest. It’s not Jesus we have problems with. It’s the people who do and say horrible things in his name.
