DKDK do very good explanation videos. Unfortunately they are also problematic. They are quick to cash in on BTS (explanation videos), but will then go on to say ‘they wish BTS would just go away, they are tired of talking about them’ - this was during a podcast with an American K-pop journalist Tamara (I prefer to call her Rita Skitter (book version as the movies majorly underplayed how despicable she actually was)). David is the one who says most of this toxic BS & Danny is the one who normally does the apology videos. Bookish theory also does good explanation videos & is ARMY.

i get what you mean towards the end of the video. i joined the fandom last year & last year was far from the worst years of my life. in fact, i considered myself almost fully healed at the time i joined the fandom. i was starting to think that i might be an exception to that saying but now that i look back at this year, i realize how disconnected i was from everyone & yet, i never got lonely. it wasn't an easy year & if i wasn't in this fandom, i wouldn't have managed to remain optimistic. tbh, i still think that bts didn't really find me when i needed them most but i don't think that's important. what matters is that i know them now & i will have them with me for whatever i face in the future.
