If you're from a.i. , data science, cybersecurity like subjects which are sub branches of CS then you're eligible (IIIT Delhi website confirms this so it should be applicable for the rest)

Good chance of IITK, Kgp, G, R and beyond. But I would highly encourage to apply to IISc and IITB's research course. You have good chance of getting one of that.

GATE syllabus will be enough. Everything will be asked from inside the syllabus only. In case of interview questions might come to check if your understanding of a subject/topic is enough or not. Every concept, its proof, formula and examples should be thoroughly covered.

You should get rank under 300 .... If you want top 7 IITs.
