I mean all companies hire IIT grads everywhere in the world. So IITs have better reputation than US universities just look at it people dont even know names of those Universities they only know stanford harvard and MIT and thoae 3 aren't gonna take u probably so u will be getting top 10US uni. Not bad but not worth spending 1crore rs. For non rich people . Getting that much loan will be huge huge burden u will be working first 3 years of ur job just paying back the loan

Hi Bhaiya, but would like to clarify some of your points, to get into MS college other than preparing for GRE and ielts you require good grades and resume which takes a longer time than preparing for GATE . Also you can do In Campus jobs and get TA, RA roles in the US also, so you can cover some expenses from there also. And thirdly in IS there are job fairs in every college where you can get internships and Jobs as well similar to placements in India. Don't take this in a wrong manner, this is what my research tells me, correct me if I am wrong somewhere or missed something.

Work for two years in any company with CTC more than 5 lpa then do an MS from abroad if you think it's needed for you

Bhaiya I am currently in 12th. 11th wasted fully, then in starting of 12 i started prep for jee maine 11 ka jee syllabus krna shuru krdiya fir 12 unit test mai mai fail ho gya😢 mujhe tab samjh lag gya jee abhi krna shi nhi par jab tak yeh pta laga maine boards ki koi bhi coaching join nhi ki thi na 12th ka kuch pdha tha backlog and backlog ,jaise taise pass ho raha tha 12 ke tests mai , abhi situation yeh hai maths mera decent hoo gya hai(board pt. of view se) , physics ,chem bohot weak sabh khatam ho gya 😢😢 kya karu. I would say prepare DSA , increase ratings in competitive programming platform like code chef to atleast 4*, try leetcode also for interview type questions in your 2nd year till next year May 2023 and then start preparing for Gate Exam from june onwards. Then you will have 1.5 years to prepare. Telling you from my personal experience. Even if you do MTech (whether from IIT/NIT/other institute) it is your programming skills and your resume that will help to crack companies. You can choose for Gate CS paper so that you directly enter into MTech Computer Science Branch. Although some college allow BTech other branch students in MTech computer Science and some dont. So do research a bit before giving Gate CS exam. But Programming is must if you want to enter into IT world. And companies dont do any partiality in IITs just you need to fulfill certain CGPA criteria in MTech + strong programming skills + Resume and you are good to go.

U can buy a toothpaste for 20rs in India ,the same would cost u 2 dollars or 150 rs in USA . So the purchasing power of indian rupee locally is more than that of USAs ppp

Actually it has to be 40 Lakh instead of 50. Basically to get actual power of money we have to divide 40L by PPP which is around 2.5 - 3 for US. It boils down to roughly 14-15L in India.

Don't compare gate with iit jee or UPSC , gate is much easier than them . And if you really want to crack some very difficult thing then join any product based company just after your b tech as a freshers . This is only comparable with JEE . Cracking Gate

Not true, cracking GATE requires good memory, problem solving and quick thinking, requires almost 1 year to prepare to get top 100, to get a job >10 lpa, requires a good project (6 months) and DS algo(6 months = 250+ solved problems). Both can be done simultaneously by doing 3 hours coding and 3 hours dev everyday and easily.
