We all learn the hard way as we collect more cards. If I waited 1 month from when I started to purchase celebrations I would probably save like $400-500? I remember buying a full set of the Japanese amazing rare for like $150, and now we can get em for much lower, but hey they all came back as PSA 10 so I'm pretty happy about that.

This was great to understand how much you payed and lost. I don't buy singles myself, I prefer to try and get the card myself which I know costs a lot more money but it's the enjoyment out of opening them than anything else. I have managed to accumulate a few Shiny Charizard Vmax's from Shiny Star V set which I'm keeping locked away hoping the prices will go up after they stop printing them, but I will always keep at least one of every card for my own personal collection.
