if this type of technology is being brought to the general public, odds are it's already been in use for like 10+ years by shady companies and people with too much money to control the market price and inflation of trading cards. now these companies will use it as means to charge more for rare boxes showing proof that they contain the rarest cards from that set in the box thus inflating the price as well as make a profit off people wanting their rare packs scanned. TLDR: this is bad news for the general card collecting population as a whole.

For me, it's all about Pikachu. I want the ultimate Pikachu binder with cards psa 8 or above. It's been slow going. I have to get my butt to Japan ASAP. I assume I could fill so many glaring gaps in my collection by going to the meca of Pokémon cards. *heavy sigh.... I feel so overwhelmed and desperate sometimes.

you hold such an extensive knowledge of the hobby. from the artists names and what they have drawn before, knowing and announcing the winners of the illustration contest and their illustrations as soon as the information is released to the public, to even just knowing the correct terminology and vocabulary for certain art styles that transcend just pokemon by itself. i don't know how you do it.

I have been to Bar Unknown, it wss cool. Found some cards i liked at a good price. However, they did offer me a 151 gengar master ball and i said for sure! Turns out it was a regular holo gengar holo not thr master ball. The clerk must have said Monstaa boru and i mis heard 😅
