Nothing so far breaks canon but using the same year as Jedi Survivor, using the exact place that Fallen Orders game was set. More Easter eggs and notes on how a Jedi had gotten in before. I kinda annoyed me that Obi-Wan snuck in the same way Cal did and not a send person thought after Cals Success that maybe they should have more security on the pools...

Fallen Order/Survivor actually take the SW world seriously and have a groundedness & integrity that create true dramatic & emotional stakes -- Obi-Wan was goofy, pure amateur-hour, and it was therefore hard/impossible to give a shit about anything.

@@loudenlaffnite246 I kinda agree there. Kenobi was... Mixed. On one hand, we have the best Vader we have ever seen, we had Anakin back and great plot points of Episodes 5/6. We had a pretty good look at Alderaan and Leia and hers and Obi-Wans relationship was quite good. And Obi-Wans journey itself was quite good. On the bad side, we had the Inquisitors who more or less did nothing the whole show while Reva went and did everything, even though she was really just out to kill Vader, which was an awesome scene, but still her varying levels of threat and demeanor changing every episode felt like they wanted her to be important but didn't know if they wanted her to be a villain or an anti-hero yet failed at delivering both and her only good scene was Vader wiping the floor with her. Episode 4 was a mess, and honestly where I would have had the most Cal/Fallen Order stuff pop up but the writters clearly never actually read into the game. Fallen Order, is my absolute favourite Star Wars games, even compared to The Force Unleashed and Knight of the Old Republic 1/2. Cal is a grounded and real character, his journey doesn't serve the player as a power fanstasy like Revan and Starkiller and he fits into the world and has its own stuff going on. Each world felt hostile and like you had a threat everywhere, even after you clear planets that feeling is still there.

A few things I would like to see in Jedi Survivor: 1. A stance system since it seems Cal is returning to a single bladed saber the ability to switch stances for different movesets would work to substitute the blade switching of the last game nothing too complicated one stance with wide slashes for groups of enemies and one for focusing on single enemies. 2. Expanded movement options give us more unique gear for traversal one idea is a grapple hook for swinging and climbing. 3. More unique enemies for added challenges and act as mini bosses.

I have a big feeling the blaster will be used as a shoot to parry mechanic similar to Bloodborne under certain circumstances. The fact that you could change from the singlebladed to doublebladed saber in the last game made it seem as if they took major inspiration from the trick weapon combat mechanics already.

Darth Maul's timeline was messed up in Solo. He was defeated at Mandalore and was forced to flee at the end of Clone Wars. First from the clones, then from the inquisitors. He was hiding on Malachor by the time of Rebels. It makes no sense for him to go back to the Crimson Dawn after Clone Wars only to leave them again by the time of Rebels. I bet whoever put him in Solo never watched the animated series.

I think I have an idea of how they'll set us up with the blaster, the sith in the trailer is probably one of palpatine's sith assasins, cal survives the duel but loses his lightsaber. He then goes back aboard the mantis in a daring escape where he tells the crew of his lost lightsaber. He then gets the blaster from someone probably Cere and we have to play a few levels with only the blaster and the force. Later we steal the lightsaber back and then do the rest of the game with a lightsaber/blaster combo

Back in 2020 I was on a plane ride to Vegas and sat next to a SDM(Software Development Manager) for EA and she said the Cal Kestis games were greenlit by Disney to be a trilogy since the first one did so well. She also mentioned the KOTOR Remaster before the announcement and said Disney will be green lighting KOTOR 2 remaster and KOTOR 3 if the KOTOR remaster sells well.

I mean, I sorta doubt they're going to kill off the _hero_ of their _very popular and successful_ video game series in the second installment. I get that it might make sense in terms of continuity, but since when does Disney prioritize that over potential profit? Jedi Fallen Order was weirdly very "standard", nothing really new, a lot of inspiration from other games, but... it weirdly is very good, at least to me. Great combat, good graphics, good progression w/ ability unlocks, decent platforming, decent story... I am looking forward for the next game for sure

I’m just wondering if it’ll have any legends Easter eggs to me I think they should combine some of the canon stuff that’s liked by the majority with legends and make new legends stuff by old writers and old artists from when George owned the rights to Star Wars and make it more like the original style of lore and just leave the stuff disliked by the majority as a separate timeline

I really don't see them ever actually killing hum off. I can totally see at some point down the road them coming up for an excuse as to why he plays zero part in anything after him with a background reason for his death but I very highly doubt they will ever actually kill Cal in any game or show. Maaaybe a show or movie but definitely not the games cause then they can't make a sequel and this is star wars and Disney we are talking about. Once Disney finds a star wars thing people actually like they are going to demand it keep being produced until people don't care anymore and then they will say Cal died off screen somehow.
