I know! I don't understand it, it's really sad the way these children are treated. 😢 I don't know about you, but I would call this abuse. Childern aren't meant to dress up like f*ing adults! They're meant to run around playing with teddies and toys, using their imaginations, and all of that shitaki, not being chased by strange cameras and being abused by their parents for money and f*ing "beauty-scores". It's actually enraging that nobody has stopped all of these goddamn pageants after all of these years, it's just sad. Middle aged parents that are about as good at parenting as my big toe, too gross and sad to fulfill their dreams of being a stupid " pageant-queen", inflicting the pain of having your childhood ripped to shreds in front of your eyes on their poor kids. It's just sad. 😢

Batlover Sings I think it’s really dependent on the age of the child in question. If you’re younger then parents shouldn’t put the responsibility of poop picking up on their children for a variety of reasons, but if the child is old enough then yeah it’s okay. Also, the way the mom used profanities so much while asking her daughter to pick up the poop is inexcusable. There is a way to teach your child to curse responsibly, and using them like that isn’t one of them. She should watch her mouth and be an example for her daughter, not an instigator.

hi, you’re not wrong for upholding this opinion from watching toddlers and tiaras. but at the same time we must realize that it is a reality TV show, they are going to put the absolute most dramatic moments on screen. I must say though that I would not even classify these as real pageants, these are “glitz pageants”. in real pageants, it is never about the way you walk in heels or the artificial hair. typically your score is 60-70% interview, where they ask you questions about your goals, what you’ve done to serve in your community, etc. as far as the pageants i’ve done, it’s more of a sisterhood. i’ve never really witnessed any pettiness or drama unless there’s one bad apple. pageants teach many skills and instill a lot of great assets... such as confidence building, interview skills, public speaking. but as far as parents living out their dreams through their children... this happens in other activities too! such as sports. i would love for you to watch a different pageant other than those on toddlers and tiaras, it may help you form a better educated opinion! :)

I mean we could also talk about how hard the school in Germany is or how fucked up the school system is (Especially in Bavaria, where I live). And how much pressure they put on children to be "normal"(since you're in kindergarten). Like you can't be too loud, but also you're going to get talked on If you're too quiet. You're expected to just know everything and if you don't... well you should've just paid attention. Most of the teachers aren't even qualified to work with children/teens(which I think should be a requirement to be a teacher). You're just supposed to be a boring /" normal " robot, that has to fit into society , because if you aren't, they're going to make you be like that .

I swear all these parents live vicariously through their children. They’re only care about winning, money, and cussing at everyone they disagree with in front of their child...

These kids are being taught the wrong value system. Looks don’t give a person value 😩they are punishing their kids for reacting to being punished I hate kid pageant. Why would you put your kids in this hostile situation. The ones swearing should have been kicked out of pageant
