Diversity is good and brokers are great but there are ways to separate the securities for properties even when staying with the same bank. But misleading or general information here.

You can avoid cross security with the bank however bankers want to do it more than brokers do as it’s a simpler structure. However the point of bank vs broker was much deeper than that alone. It’s choice of lenders, borrowing capacity policies, interest rates, loan terms.
