I use double set of pimples in my racket: DHS C8 OX in BH and C7 1mm in FH. It works very well for classic /passive defence

Muy buena review. No parece que el monito sea muy dañino en los bloqueos pero sí fácil de usar. El sonido de la madera no me gusta nada...En breve me llegará la Unicorn para emparejarla con Hellfire X, que ya tenía desde hace tiempo. Saludos.

No, no es especialmente dañino. Y a mi tampoco me gusta el sonido. Pero en lo que se refiere a jugabilidad, es fácil, sin más. No destaca en nada y tampoco falla en casi nada. Sospecho que en otra madera la goma sería más útil.

I am using the Hellfire X on a Arbalest Bogen (similar to Nitakku Shake Defence) and this is by far the best combination I have ever played (spinwise). The Unicorn should do the same as far as I have read). But the forehand is not the best on these kind of blades. Currently I am testing the Matador Texa (it‘s your and Leonardos fault! 😉) But can‘t find the right LP for this blade, HFX is too fast and not enough reversal. Spectre was nearly unplayable for me as it was really spin sensitive. I don‘t know…

Have you tried S&T Monkey on a more defensive blade as Donic Defplay Senso v3? I think it would give more deadly ball for the other player than on a off- blade such as Banana or Petr Korbel.

There's always a payoff with long pimps. If you want a lot of passive reversal you need the slippery type which are more difficult (but not impossible) to attack with. After using Monkey in Ox on a Butterfly Viscaria I found it tamed the blade a little which is not unwanted and also attacking was easy. Active chop blocks gave good reversal, passive not so good but it dropped the ball so short over the net it double or tripple bounced! Great rubber for passive return of serve. You literally just put the bat in the way straight off the bounce and it pops over the net very short. More active returns need good positioning due to the reduced pace of the rubber but not difficult to use. My other Viscaria has Grass TecS in ox on it. Totally different animal! You need good soft hands to tame this beast but once you have, attacking, chop blocking etc are a dream as they go through flat and skiddy with lots of reversal. It is fast though.Aim straight at your opponents body and test their footwork! My team mates all said this was far harder to play against but I also had to concentrate more. With Monkey you can relax a bit and enjoy what it does well. Another great rubber from S&T!

I haven't tried Hellfire X for too long, but I think they are worlds apart. Monkey is much slower and less damaging, especially in passive play. Thanks to you for your comment.

Have you tried Monkey OX on a Unicorn blade. What do you think of Unicorn with Monkey OX.

I have not yet had the pleasure of trying Unicorn. From what I understand, it's a lot slower than Banana. Its combination with Monkey might be too slow, perhaps.

I haven't tried the Mono + Unicorn combination, but I have tried the blade separately. Unicorn is much slower than Banana.

Hola, yo tengo una madera donic defplay senso y uso picos largos butterfly feing long softh ...que me regaló una amiga, pero no no hacen mucho daño la verdad o eso me parece, y pica mucho para abajo, muy difícil atacar con ellos...me recomiendas algún otro modelo? Has probado los fein long 2 o 3 ? Y los dgras de thibar? Un saludo

La que tengo ahora que me regalaron creo que es 0,5 ...desco si me vendría mejor 0x o más esponja ...pero de momento no me voy muy muy atrás por qué ni se devolverlas tan de lejos ni mis compañeros del club se atreven a levantar muchas como para alejarme mucho ... Así que juego cerca o me alejo 2 metros como mucho para cortar o chopear .. Muchas gracias

@@Chicho-trremoto Seguramente el 0.5mm te siga funcionando bien... La gama Feint en general está bien, pero creo que siempre habrá mejores opciones en marcas especialistas en este tipo de materiales. Te recomendaría probar TroubleMaker de Dr. Neubauer, son de los más fáciles de utilizar. También los VIctas Curl P1v, clásicos, nunca fallan.
