Most Hurricane Neo 3 users who try the Battle 2 Provincial blue sponge seem to think it's better, and many swap. The issue is, not enough are willing to try new things... It's honestly fantastic. I suspect people think they're buying the same rubber as Ma Long, they're not. The National version is nothing like the Neo that everyone buys, and then boosts, which lasts a month or two, and still isn't as good as the Battle 2P BS.

@@amirfirdaus3198 Nice! I'm trying Battle 3 (black, 39) at the moment, and it plays very similarly in most ways, with a bit more low-end punch. I'm noticing, though, that even after several weeks of daily play, it cleans up like it's brand new. B2P BS already has amazing durability (especially compared with H3N), so I don't know how 729 has given Battle 3 enhanced longevity without lowering performance. It's pretty impressive and worth a try.

@@azimhirji5408 Ali Express. One of the most reputable stores is "BEO". 8 months of weekly abuse and B3 is still playing well. The rate at which it slightly loses its tack (the mechanical grip is huge still), is the same rate it gains more mid-range. It feels more like a 39 now, only, it's harder to bottom out. Hope that helps.

very good video and personally I have tried most of these rubbers but it must be detailed that there are rubbers that work very well on the backhand but not on the forehand and on the contrary everything depends on the level of each player and I agree a lot with the Dignics 09c since In that series the rubbers last many months, but Butterfly didn't like that so they have reduced the durability of this series. I don't know about the other models 05, 64, 80 but with the 09c it lasts much less than before, the same at the level of the Tibhar rubbers are very good but they don't last at all, just like the tenergy 05 rubbers, which are very expensive for the durability they have.

So what rubber would you recommend for someone who spins well with a lot of rotation but usually spins over the table when opposed to somoene who is a fast contra player?
@tochi210 ай бұрын
I didn't understand the question very well but if it is your case that you are the player who is looking for a lot of spin on the table and playing against someone who is waiting for your attack to counter it, it is difficult to know since everything depends in this case on the hardness of the rubber and of the spring effect of the same rubber and that determines the control of your game, currently the most common hardness used is 45° degrees on a European scale onwards as well as what wood you are using to have the best balance between spin speed and control and if If you tell me what equipment you use, I could maybe tell you what is the best thing you could use for your style of play.@@C-handle-r

Thanks. Just one point: when you say something like there are so many choices, so save yourselves a headache and pick something from this list, I would argue that there is almost no rubber suited for beginners or really low level players on that list. There are a couple which aren't too fast/springy (Mark V / Hurricane), but they're very grippy, and all the others would be ranked from Off- to Off+ I think. I guess this is because the people who answered your survey are, as you mentioned, mainly intermediate to advanced players, who most probably already have invested in and tried out multiple rubbers. So if you are in that playing level bracket, yes, staring from this list is probably a good idea, but if you're not, check out other reviews before spending around 2 x 50$ for rubbers that will be unusable for you.
@Daniel-om4rd10 ай бұрын
Well, for a beginner who starts playing in a club and is doing drills with a coach I would think Mark V is very good (or would be, if it wasn't so overpriced). It's grippy, but a lot less so than modern high-end rubbers. If you want to develop and get used to spin you need a grippy rubber. But for a player who just wants to play with friends and got no interest in practicing table tennis there are better options

Do you know of any good resources for theorizing backhand rubbers on a Avalox P500? I love the chinese style of play with powerful and long stroke spins on forehand, but I have a hard time finding the right type of backhand rubber for this style of play with a flexible and hard blade (koto outer layers creating bounce instead of the rubber creating bounce). I am looking for rubbers that dont have an excessive amount of bounce, but that is able to grip the ball at high speeds and add gears to the impact through the flex and bouncyness of the blade itself, all the while fascilitating the ability to generate spin in short strokes, like how the backhand stroke is.

I have played with Tenergy 05 for years. Honestly, it is not what I call spinny. Has a high tension foam and I would say it is bouncy. My backhand is very good so I play it on that side. Unless one doesn't have the right technique, it is quite difficult to block/control the ball jumps out, so you need to almost pull in before going forward.

Butterfly 09C is much slower than Tenergy05, but the ball stay on your racket longer which helps with generating more spin...if you commit to a full/completing the movement (e.g. backhand) then you can add speed too. Is it easier to play with compared to Tenergy 05? Yes...is it faster? No, but it compensates with added control and spin. For a player with a strong backhand I prefer Tenergy 05, but Dignics 09C works too...No comments on using it on forehand, I play with Hurracane Neo.

A big parameter is longevity to compare the price. D80 is still good after a complete season. 80euros is not so expensive. T05 is alive for 3 month so 60euros is very expensive. D09C is my favorite on Forehand because H3N from DHS need booster so i need 2 bats to boost and play at the same time. For backhand D80 is a beast. I am not a Butterfly fanatic but i have to recognize that theses rubber are simply the best. Pro players are not stupid and use it for their abbilities to give an amazing playing in front of Chinese players with DHS national rubbers. An over point is witch wood you paired with? A good rubber on a cheap blade is not effective. A very good carbon blade with a cheap Chinese rubber works better. So 1st, a good blade, very good! Then an appropriate rubber but with the plastic ball and the modern playing style, harder is better. Popular is not the proof that it's the best way. People wants a rubber who works in place of them. Developing physical ability, mindness and technic is the right way. Have a good day.
