Jen’s standards are ON THE FLOOR. Sam literally did the BARE minimum to make her feel comforted. There was a total difference between her jumping out of the plane with Marcus versus jumping off a building with Sam. She felt so much more comforted and safe with Marcus.

Totally disagree with any add-ons during midseason of the bachelor/ette. He needs to be sent back home a.s.a.p. He is just a part of Jenn's past. She has good connections with many of the cast that are still there, even if she is being played by some of them. If the current cast don't force him to leave, then Jenn will simply send him back home herself.

​@@abandonablesnowman totally agree & its the first im hearing of it too (and I know it's all alleged & I haven't looked into it, so who knows) but either way, im always weary of ppl who've been in the army, esp if they've been deployed and experienced violence and/or loss. that's why when he started sharing his trauma story & that he has a hard time opening up, & being vulnerable w others, alarm bells started going off in my head. bc those are two things that are a recipe for not being well adjusted, emotionally regulated, or ready for a healthy, long term relationship. esp if you're a vet who has had to repress a lot of ur experiences to cope and keep fighting. so im not surprised to now hear he may have a history of SA; anyone who comes back from war or being deployed and has experienced grave trauma without ongoing, consistent therapy, usually has difficulty maintaining healthy relationships w their loved ones & tends to unfairly & unknowingly project a lot of their issues onto their partners. tbh even w therapy, time & patience are always the best healers. jumping into a relationship even a year or two after being discharged is sometimes not enough time, bc what you've experienced sits in your brain & body for a lifetime, & takes so much work to recover from. codependency is another problem a lot of vets can struggle w and then project onto their partners -- bc you go from being in a 24/7 brotherhood and support system to complete isolation & a total lack of structure & support - outside of ur family, if you have one - back in the real world. that transition can really cripple some, esp if they lost fellow soldiers in the war. then again, perhaps these allegations predate his time in the army and are the reason he joined; to find some structure & discipline for himself & move away from his violent behavior-- who knows. either way, although all of these are valid explanations for his past - if true - they are certainly not an excuse. and if I were Jenn and I had heard his trauma story alongside his fear of sharing his emotions w someone else, I would seriously consider his readiness to be in a marriage, let alone in a healthy, long-term relationship at all. so even without knowing any of the allegations against him, I would be very weary of trusting & choosing him, bc of his issues around vulnerability. it would scream "fear of commitment" to me, just not for the classic reasons we usually assume, I guess.
