What i find funny is that everyone hated the silence so much, while the exact same modder went on to create these great horror experiences

It's really sad because the concept of The Silence was actually pretty unique, it just wasn't executed the best. They were probably just in a learning phase. They did really good with these mods too, but people don't wanna talk about these,. They just critize the modder for that one mod that didn't turn out the best, plus I think they even updated The Silence to make it better. Props to the modder of these mods though.

From the horror mods I've played here is my ranking! 7-CANT BREATHE (just one shots you without warning 6- Man From The Fog (it just gets annoying after a while) 5- Shut your eyes (controls were iffy as the hold your breath button didn't work) 4- The One Who Watches (didnt show up and when he did it was just his footsteps) 3- From the fog (pretty good and overall a great mod. A golden standard for horror) 2- In your world (didn't find the structure but it definitely gave me a few jumpscares 1- ooo.jar (absolutely perfect, didn't show up too much but when it did I almost shoobed myself)

I personally think the siren head mod is up there in terms of just how well executed the premise is. It doesn’t scare me the way a few of these other more slow burn horror mods do, but in terms of translating Trevor’s works into the context of Minecraft? Genuinely the best I’ve seen

My favorite horror mod is Beware The Rain because of how terrifying the Vapor is. It's one of those loud instakill chase mobs, but it feels a little more fair bc it spawns a bit away from you and isn't lightning fast. Despite playing with it for a few months, I still shit my pants sometimes because of it.

I know it's used in like EVERY horror playthrough (and usually as nothing more than a mod to have on the side) but nothing has creeped me out like the knocker!!! I think it's because hearing knocking on doors and windows kind of sends me into a panic ANYWAYS but I feel like it's subtle and unpredictable enough to really just get you sometimes.
