Or instead of seeing literally no more than 100m infront of you, just use nvidium and bobby and have a render distance of 32 at just as many fps. Another tip would be: dont use optifine, use sodium and sodium addons.

Nice for high fps but it's better to use sodium because its more modern and has better optimizations compared to optifine. Also ferritecore, lithium, entity culling and modernfix are good performance mods

not to offend but your monitor refresh rate is probably not over 300... plus why would you even need like a thousand fps you wont be able to notice the difference anyway, i use 128 chunk render distance and fancy graphics with stable 144 fps on 1.20.1, well ik that this is a 1.8 video but still... i wouldnt trade render distance for an extra 200 fps that you cant see

The real answer is the more frames you have, your response time will be better. You won’t see the difference but you’ll feel it

for pvp i'd recommend 8 or 10 render distance cuz some maps are huge
