100% worth it , i have a f30 335i and its my first car also , it is super worth it i would just get it checked by a mechanic before buying fs , i havent had any issues eith mine and enjoy it alot

When I did my dual exhaust conversion on my 430i. They made a cut out on the oem diffuser so the exhaust could fit
