What a lovely and varied nail collection you have. I usually don't wear nail polish on my fingernails, because I use my hands too much for any nail polish to last more than a day or two. I do love giving myself a pedicure every week, it helps sooth and calm my feet and gives me that put together feeling.

Try Orly Rubberized Bonder base coat. I always had the same problem of polish chipping after one day, but ever since I started using the bonder base coat, my polish lasts for 7 days!

I am so boring with polishes - pale pink (polished, professional, classic look), red, bright rose pinks, a magenta or deep crimson here and there. I thought I was really wild putting on a medium blue green shade the other day. I love the ILNP colors, but I never know what will look good on my skin tone. 😬 Thanks so much for sharing, Jen!

Hi Jen, these are very pretty nail colors. I never had long nails and I think it is because I would bite them growing up. Then I had them done for over 20 years with them built on. I decided to stop that and use press on nails sometimes but not much. I have always noticed your nails and the pretty colors you use since watching your videos and have decided to do something with mine again besides using clear polish. I've been into nail polish more recently, and love your selections here! Cirque does some incredible colors, but I hate that tiny brush. The first time I used it, I thought ...this is doll house worthy 😆 I definitely prefer Orly's flat wide brush; gets it done in 2 swipes, sometimes one on my pinky nail. One indie brand I've been enjoying is Rogue. Their colors are unique, and usually are one coaters, which I prefer. One favorite of mine from them is Wild Wild West. And I always use Orly's Rubberized Bonder base coat, and my polish lasts about 7 days!

Lovely collection! I love ILNP & Cirque, have several shades from them both, and they are truly special in my vast nail polish collection. I've become obsessed with jellies and multichromes thanks to those brands. And I love my ILNP Downtown too 😊I have almost all the collection it comes from (Summer Nights) and it's like having several polishes in one b/c of the layering possibilities. You should also check out ORLY/ORLY Breathable, Color Club, KB Shimmer and Death Valley Nails --- I've found some amazing and unique shades from those brands too!

Wonderful selection of colors! I always do my toes, but usually end up going no further than a using a great nail straightener, 2 clear coats, then a soft pink or white on my fingers. This lasts for a good 10 days. Thank you for showing us all your combinations as well💕

Try asking at local salons if they have the color you're looking for. Most companies send at least three bottles of each color when you buy the newest collection. It's pretty rare to run through all of them before the next season comes out. Especially some of the funkier colors.

Big fan of ILNP & Cirque Color. There are some really unique polishes within these brands. Just bought some on Black Friday from ILNP and anxiously awaiting their arrival. Big fan of Essie as well as Zoya, OPI & Orly. Great video! It was difficult to see the true colors in the nail swatches but it was a good idea to convey the basic gist of the shades. So many multi faceted formulas. 🎇✨🌈

I think Penny and Autumn are my favorite. I tend to go for reds, oranges and deep forest greens, with black and some blues thrown in occassionally. Although I put a sheer sparkly blue and purple polish over black and it looked like the galaxy.

I also collect unique nail polishes. One of my all time favorites is by Kokie shade Crown Jewel. It’s seriously absolutely beautiful! Online pictures don’t do it justice. Trust me…. You will love it too. Btw… you’re right, INLP makes stunning shades. I own about 15, each one is so unique.

I’m a nurse who works 12 hour shifts, and the ILNP holds up for 3 shifts a week. I couldn’t even venture a guess as to how many times I wash and sanitize during each 12 hours shift. I use a top coat of course, but I was pleasantly surprised that this brand lasts this long.

I wash my hands a lot too, and they vary for me. I'm always opening makeup boxes and packaging and that's usually how my nails end up chipping. But the ILNP hold up pretty well...I would say a little above average for me.

Jen you have some really pretty nail polishes. I really like the Tarte best bud lip balm that you recommend for a great lip mask. Did you ever wear the one that had the pink flower on top the one that has a little tint to it? Can you wear that as a lip mask too?

Yes I have! You can wear it as a lip mask but it may get on your pillow if you wear it to bed. Even though it's a reddish tint, it gave my lips more color than I was expecting. That could be a good thing or a bad thing depending on what you're going for.

The majority of my nail polishes come from Essie & ILNP. Both brands make beautiful polishes. I love the Geodes Collection from Essie. All the shades are holographic with a high shine. ILNP has THE most gorgeous metallics/multichrome/holographic polishes I've ever seen. I mainly wear the deeper, more saturated shades on my toes & go for lighter or nude shades on my fingers since no matter what brand of polish/top coat I use for a manicure it chips almost immediately. Chipping is much more noticeable with dark or bright polish so I avoid it unless it's a special occasion & only needs to look good for a night :) I'm considering switching to the newer press on nails since those come in interesting designs I could never do at home & are available in a "short" length. Once my nails get to a nice length for polish, one will usually snag, break or peel & then I have to trim/file them all down. I feel like I'm always growing them out & it would be nice to have them all look good for more than a day or two. ILNP just recently released their own brand of base & top coats that I'm super curious about but haven't pulled the trigger on yet. I'm afraid to look at their website because I know I will end up buying at least 3 bottles of nail polish if not more. Just not in the budget right now.

There is a product on Amazon called Rejuvacote 2 that has kept my nails from peeling, chipping and breaking. I’ve tried all kinds of products over the years and this is the only product that has ever worked.
