Great update. 'if you have a pair of anaglyph glasses"... should have one handy, have about 100 pairs left over from my lightfield photo/video exhibit from 3 years ago. ;-) Have you found info on how the iPhone 3d screen film works, optically?

All I know it is that it is a refined type of lenticular display that has very minimal effect on the 2D quality/experience, and good 3D quality

@@josh_3D honestly I’ve never heard of anyone going to discord for 3D video, I didn’t even know they accepted 3D video, You should consider uploading the 3D sbs images here with metadata

I'm still not happy with conversions, and your example shows one of the problems that the algorithms consistently make. Thin lines fall to the background. In this case it's the ropes holding the basket to the balloon. Unfortunately it is difficult to fix yourself by painting the depth map.

Yes, I think it’s time they dedicate some additional development to making it work with lines and patterns. At this point to further stand out from the crowd in terms of quality or even keep up with the competition they need to fix fundamental problems like that. Still, some images turn out almost perfect with no tweaking required and I love the new features for visualizing 3D
