Exactly my reason to use them. Had first “Shadow of Skyrim”, but always running back to the dying point felt very tedious. Then “Stay in the Fight” - sadly, it has always been quite buggy. The last one I installed is "Mark of Arkay". It's on Github only, but after various months and 3 different profiles, I never experienced any bug with it + it's highly customizable in the MCM. Strange, that I never read or see about it. Maybe, because it isn't on Nexus.

@@marconihimself The issue is loading a save without restarting the game basically. Seems like quick saves/loads have nothing to do with it (although I still do only manual saves).

I like the idea of that alternate death mod way more than the last one I played. There was a mod that added a quest to become a lich, and it was a really cool mod, but it had a feature to create a phylactery which would resurrect you at its location when you died. Problems arose though when I was playing in modded areas or in Skuldafn where you can't get back to where you were after dying.

I've noticed you use vanilla trees or something close to it... I love it, its the only good option as every tree mod i've seen makes the trees far too big and tall and thus make the mountains that are supposed to be the star of the show in Skyrim look like foot hills. The entire aesthetic of the out door areas, the vistas, the mountains were designed with these smaller trees in mind...

I have the opposite reaction to most tree mods lately because I'm very familiar with old growth forests irl. Only in the modern world are all trees so small. Some trees live for 6,000 years. I've driven a car through an old redwood tree. The branches on it dwarfed the 100 year old 3rd growth redwoods in the park near my city. I've seen the tallest tree in the world, 368 feet. But you couldn't tell without the sign because there was a forest of them almost as tall.😊 The mods that make them tall but skinny just look weird. And maybe those are the same mods you don't like. No matter either way. Having different aesthetics is a good thing. 🥰

@@aylbdrmadison1051 I disagree strongly, most of Skyrim is not supposed to be old growth forest, its supposed to be far north alpine regions, and tundra, trees are generally much smaller and shorter in these regions, and it gives most of Skyrim that somber northern Conan the barbarian vibe... Falkreath I guess can be an old growth area

These recent mods have honestly impressed me so much, glad you enjoyed! As for the mods, I'm using Skyland AIO with Omnibus, Nat 3 Weathers with Cabbage ENB and all of the LUX mods. My game still has the odd issue here and there, but I am very happy with how it looks :)

Shadow of Skyrim is superior to Soul Resurrection, as it is far more hardcore. If you die, you are given penalties, and must journey back to your place of death to grab dropped stuff and enact revenge on your killer to remove the curse. If you succeed you will be granted long term buffs. Some of the curses are quite hilarious.

I love new advicees and new mods! Only one big problem: That bloody 255 limit! Armours / Cloothing for example are one the most favourite mods, ever! But they need to be 3ba with physics, at least, before thinking about installing another one! *hope you get me

The limit is 254 for esp/esm plugins, but 4096 for esl and esl flagged plugins. If you use Mod Organizer 2, hovering over the "Active" number on the right pane will show you how many are esp/esm and how many are esl. Most small mods are esl flagged so the limit is quite high really.

It does not matter really, what matters is that a Clothing / Armour mod needs to be 3ba, at minimum. Otherwise no further attention from my side.

@@genegene7028 I believe there's an option to make them a little better in the MCM menu. But in return, there's a chance your character will be transparent during the animation... hopefully the mod author is working on some sort of fix because it has a lot of potential :)
