The problem isn’t the fact that it is a re-release, the problem is the figures that they chose. Figures that we’ve seen within the past 3 months, and sure, it gives people another chance to pick up these figures but it also wastes the opportunity to give other collectors a repaint.

I love the Mattel figures but this just comes off as lazy. In my area RIGHT NOW, I drive a route and there’s about 8 Walmarts on that route and EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM has between 6 and 10 of these LA Knight elites sitting on the shelves.

I listened to a podcast with the Mattel guys and they spoke on this wave and pretty much said they have to do these rerelease waves in order to get the good shit that most of us like/love. In other words the suits want a certain number of figures released per year since it’s so hot right now. Just don’t buy em. I just don’t want Mattel to not greenlight the cool shit because everybody freaks out over the rereleases.

I do not have a problem with re-releases but doing so this quickly after the original release is an odd choice. I'd be curious to see their metrics and reasoning because there's a ton of Seth & LA still on the shelves in my area. There's so many great figures from the past that they could be releasing again that they've chosen to ignore.

I’ve almost reached critical mass. We are getting to the point where I don’t need many more figures. Maybe a few NXT stars like Trick, but I have a bunch of the ones I would have always wanted.

I'm slowly coming to a stop at collecting. Can't find new stuff at my stores. If i find something, i get it home and open the box and the figure 7 times out of 10 has an issue that nakes the figure trash. Loose joints or legs wont move. The constant rerelease with no updates

These figures don't even look to be packaged differently from their OG form. I love Mattel, but this is really lame. In my opinion, what they should have done for Dominik is re-release the elite 89 just with the new skin tone. That would have been SO much better.

My brother in Christ, PLEASE *stop complaining* about re-releases. You are lucky enough to get all the action figures. But most of us are not. Our targets most times do not have the figures we want. So the re-releases are an opportunity to get the figures we want and could not get the first time.🎉
