God has a way of putting things in front of you right at the time you need it. Thank you for this. I needed to hear this. I’m about to go apologize to my son and have a conversation with him letting him know that I hear him. Thank you again.

I’ve been somewhere in between unconscious and conscious parenting. Seeing you all get behind conscious parenting like this is really helping me make the shift

I have raised two amazing beautiful children. I am an empty nester now and I live with so many children around my area... I struggle so hard to see these kids just "loose" and out of control. Parents that are checked out and are not engaged in their children's lives... It frustrates me and angers me that I see all these little souls that are just looking for attention and love... When they are at my home they have structure and boundaries even just visiting... It's shocking to them at first but they crave it. Also the lack of making learning and education important. I know some kids that are in grade 4 and can't read or write. It just breaks me. I wish and pray that these parents come to and see what beautiful gifts they have and not just money makers or burdens... Ty for the podcast. ❤

This is amazing! How you guys address the importance of parenting, the influence we have on our children and the message we want to leave for them is a great subject to talk about. Always nice hearing this from big entrepreneurs!

You both are amazing and I love your perspective. I have always believed in a more positive parenting approach and I worked in daycare for years and truly believe that children absorb all of our energy so we must be conscious of the energy we send out to them. They are little reflections of us in so many ways. Great information and love you guys!

I resonate with a lot of the things Mary contributes - little kids behave and feel a lot like the animals I care for - and one thing I really remember from when I was very little - and I do remember scenes that must have been at between 2-3 years old because of the setting - all these people who wanted to kiss me because I had these cute blond locks. And I was scared by their energy, and they had scratchy beards, and it felt too close, and some of them smelled or gave soppy kisses, and then I would cry, and mom would tell at me for being such a bad child (and embarrassing her, I now know), and it was a horrible experience. I have actually heard mothers comment "Well, she patted the dog, but she didn't even look at the child, what a weird person...", and they didn't even realize how weiry their own child looked of yet another person invading their space. Thank you, Mary, for protecting your child in the name of all of us when we were young...

Parents do the best they can do at any level with what they have to use. Parenting isn't a Olympic sport or feel like it is. I do parenting my way with my kids and thankfully they are successful in all they do and grateful that I have grandkids so I know my parenting was good and even with challenges we still have a incredible bond. Again, I am grateful that I have the energy that I'm a young grandmother that has the energy to run around with then now and enjoy them now. 😊

Lol im the same way, in that i can pick up on people's energy hella fast & i notice even the slightest shift in someone's mood ha im very empathic & i feel emotions like 10X more intensely than other people lol socializing drains me pretty bad, & i can only withstand so much socializing/being out in public (like the grocery stores)before i end up in a panic attack if theres too many people at the store/mall ect lol even to the point where ive straight up abandoned my cart & whatever i was gonna buy & just had 2 get out of the store cuz of too many people like in the aisles i hate when u cant get around ppl & everyone is in everyones way & ppl just stop & chat with their damn neighbor! Lol 🙄👌💯😂🤦♀️
