@PotawatomiThunderNew Жыл бұрын
I get the sentiment you’re aiming for. But the way you’re applying it doesn’t work. Inmates do not “protect” children by doing this. When a child abuser gets what they deserve in prison, they are in a position where their crimes have already been committed and put to an end. For the child victims, both alive and dead, the acts they were victims of have already happened. You can’t protect someone from something that has already happened to them. So when inmates do that, it’s not an act of protection. It’s an act of unlawful, but ethical/moral justice.

@itsjustme8947 Жыл бұрын
The sentences do not have to be more severe. All that needs to be done is to place them in general population and that the RIGHT inmate knows what they are in for. The actual sentence would then be imposed with a swiftness. If they have long sentences, then the inmates will take their sweet time beating, carving them up, and raping them before they get bored and kill them. That is what is currently happening with that one guy in the video. He's still in the 'honeymoon' phase of his sentence. A shorter sentence will move up the timeline to their expiration date significantly.

I respect Huckle’s parents a LOT. In many cases the parents want to try and protect their child no matter what they’ve done, some even go so far as to conceal evidence of crimes, whereas Huckle’s parents called the police and begged them to hold him accountable. It must be a horrible feeling finding out his depraved your child is and that you did everything right as a parent, bringing up your child in a loving environment and nurturing them, and they end up turning into a monster and unrecognisable to you. I’m old lol but I stole a 15 cent piece of bubble gum when I was little! My mom took me back in the store and made me apologize too. Then I had to pick a switch out the yard when I got home, but I still kept stealing stuff when I was younger. I think stealing is a whole different level than a pedophile you can’t even compare them! Pedophiles have a whole other psychological make up and many other factors that come into play versus other criminals. Good idea though, but when you really go into the psychology of a pedophile or even a serial killer who is killing off of sexual urges they are completely different from a thief or someone who robs a store! It’s much more complicated than that.

@@sarahrodriguez29 I'm sorry- Your mom beat you with a stick because you stole a 15 cent piece of gum-? No, that's not okay either- That's fücking child abuse, I mean yes your shouldn't take things but no one is going to arrest you or even be mad if you took a piece of gum. That's lunacy, and obviously that didn't help you actually teach you why you shouldn't steal things- That just taught you to be scared of your Mom. I'm sorry that happened to you, and I know this wasn't your point, but this is just crazy that she would do that, even in that time frame. Also yeah, stealing is not comparable to being a nonce- 💀💀💀

To the pedophile they probably don't see the child's personhood, just a target. A lot of pedophiles testify that it was about "power". These are people who's childhoods were filled with adults and other children who took away their self-governance, so as adults they get a false sense of fulfillment by exerting extreme control over children - with sexual acts being the highest form of "power" they could exert. Is it sick? Yes, absolutely, and I think that's the right word for it because treatment IS possible. Pedophiles are still human beings, and I don't mean that to "humanize" them: what I mean is that they learn, adapt and make choices based on experiences the same way the rest of us do. With that in mind we should be trying to undo whatever damage was caused to them so that they can recover and atone. Atonement should always be the end goal, as that's where true justice lies.

Instead of giving lenient sentences to molesters and rapists, they need to offer lenient sentences to those who enact justice on child molesters/rapists. The guy that killed him is SUPER fucked up in the head, and had no chance of ever being released. It's good to know a person who had no chance of ever getting out killed him, instead of somebody who can get released staying in there forever just for scum like him. Paul Fitzgerald is the person who killed him. He also went to prison for a sex crime, because he sexually attacked someone who was walking their dog. He said that he had planned to murder two or three people just for shits and giggles, but found he was having 'too much fun' with Huckle. According to the prosecutor, he also said he would have liked to cook bits of the body. Fitzgerald allegedly told a mental health doctor ( Mr Macdonald) that he had been having thoughts of killing people and eating them for a long time. Mr Macdonald said: 'He concluded his account by saying that he felt as high as a kite when he had done it and felt amazing and that he would recommend killing to anyone

My sister in law was raped at the age of 12 by a friend of the family's husband. She reported it to her parents who called the police. He admitted doing it. I happened to be at the in law's house when the police were there talking to her. I happened to recognize one of the officers who I went to high school with. We weren't friends really in school, just acquaintances, and he remembered me. He told me to not take the law into my own hands, that they'd "take care of him". A few weeks later, he didn't say exactly what happened, just told me, typically with pedophiles, the elevator sometimes breaks down in between floors at the jail and the pedos get hurt, sometimes really bad. Turns out this happened to my sister in law's rapist. Well, after the rapist got medical attention at the jail, the guard released him into general population and when shutting the cell door, called out, "Pedo, incoming...!" Well, jailhouse justice happened and he suffered a lot. I smile ever-time I think about it.

Gonna be a hot take here, but I don't think guards and police should be a part of that. If your story is true, it was certainly justified in that scenario, but there's too many innocent people locked up for cops and guards to be taking things into their own hands. Let the other prisoners figure out for themselves. We've seen on this channel, and plenty of others, that cops and guards will unlawfully use force because of personal grudges. They don't need the power of basically telling a whole prison to go after someone too.

I was in the drunk tank in a local prison and witnessed the treatment of a pedophile being admitted. During booking, the guards got really angry when they learned what he was charged with. These guards were normally very mild and emotionless, but they threw him in a cell and slammed the door really hard. He was quickly processed, and when they moved him to the main part of the prison, the inmates sang him a song as he was being brought in... they had already been informed of exactly who he was.
@lichlord9838 Жыл бұрын
These videos always bring out the best "Shit that never happened" stories. The guards wouldn't tell the inmates shit, not just because of fucking course they wouldn't but because they don't want to catch an accessory to murder charge and at the absolute bare minimum never work as a LEO another second in their lives if not spend the rest of their lives in prison. The fact of the matter is pedophiles are typically protected in prison, kept in special units and away from other prisoners. At least in the US. Virtually every story of pedos getting what they deserve in prison is fiction. Just listen at the start of the video "He killed his pedophile cellmate, and is one of DOZENS." Not thousands, not hundreds, dozens. I mean yeah, IF a pedo is in general population AND it's known what his charge is something probably will happen. But more often than not neither of those are the case.

I also read in an actual newspaper when I was a teen, about what happened to a guy in prison when they learned he was a child molester. Was an inmate here at several prisons and county jail here in the United States. Prisoners convicted of sex crimes where I am located (northeast us) are general population unless if they specifically request protective custody, albeit the crime puts them in a higher level facility because it's considered a violent crime, until their level drops when they have served a certain portion of their sentence. And also, there have been many instances just from my experience alone where correctional officers have shared with inmates that someone had come in with a sex crime, thus forcing them to check into protective custody. All depends on the correctional staff working, but they all have access to see in the identification books for count what someone is charged with. Some are professional and never share details, others aren't as professional and share these details with certain inmates they trust.
