I like you worked from 15 years old, till 71 ,to saved for my old age , which I will now pay ,tax £2000 tax on savings.but if I wasted, my money invested , I would be , getting all of my bills paid for , ie ,my tv licence £3.00pw, my rates £38, pw. Heating £300 p/year=£6.00pw, ground rent £4.00 pw. Dentists £200.p/ year .free glass, . I know a pensioners who get over £100 per week .on top of their pension = £321 per week with no bills , also this person had solar panels fitted free because they are on benefits

Its ok. My generation have been there in the 70s. Candles when the leccy went off, when it got cold we lit them! I remember it well. Bodies unburied piling up in the mortuaries and funeral homes, bins full in the streets, rubbish piled high not collected. Unions calling strikes every other day. We got through it, because Denis Healey went cap in hand to the IMF to ask for a billions of dollars handout as the country was skint.

14 million a day that’s what it’s costing now do you think about it? They’re coming over every day getting looked after checked over by Doctors free heating free room to stay in. They have to worry about fuel bills taking the piss out of us.

Remember what Starmer said, the working class do not have savings nor own their own home. Now with thinking like that, it sounds that the workers are going to suffer the most. Yes Labour, the party that introduced disability assessments, closed 252 mines, created zero hour contracts, introduced tuition fees, and of course sold a hospital to the private sector. With thinking like that no wonder it is pensioner bashing time.
