I'm so proud of these honest kids and people for returning the money they found. Not a lot of people would. When I was 16 on vacation in Waikiki Hawaii with my dad I returned a wallet that fell out of a man's back pocket. I ran, picked it up and got the man's attention. I thought he would thank me for my good deed. Instead he snatched his wallet from me with force and looked through it like I took something from it. I got accused of pickpocketing him! 😲😢 I was disgusted by him yelling at me. I thought he was going to hit me too. Thank God my dad and other people saw it happen and defend me. I was so upset by his behavior that I started to cry. My dad cussed him out along with other people. It taught me to be careful when returning things. I return things I find, but keep my distance when meeting the owner because of this situation. Not everyone is a good person. Sometimes people set these types of situations up to con you in the end. Be careful!

Obviously that guy wasn't that intelligent. Why would someone pickpocket, then immediately give it back? But I can't tell you the amount of times I haven't been thanked. Years ago I was going to the public pool with my family. On the way, we stopped at one of those ice machine hut things, and got a bag of ice. When we got to the pool, I went to grab cash to get in, and noticed my wallet was missing... I was so devastated, I didn't have much in it, but it was the only cash I had to live on for the next 2 weeks. I raced back to the ice machine, and it was gone.. we just went home, and about 10 minutes later, this random truck pulls into the cul-de-sac, and something told me, they're here for you. I swung the door open, and raced to the truck. This amazing couple had found it, and brought it to the address on my ID. I was crying, I was so grateful.. I will do the same thing, too. When I was little that I found a dollar bill on the floor at Sears. I was looking for a person that dropped it but, my mother made me keep it. Someone left a wallet at the front desk at my local Y once but, I did returned it towards the front desk for safe keeping. I even found a red cell phone in a restroom stall in Walmart. I brought the cell phone towards the service desk there. I think it is not the right to keep the money to spend it. Even bring it to the police department that is close by,too.
