My mother in law accidentally let my dog out without a leash while we were visiting in Las Vegas. We spent hours searching, posting flyers and even went to the nearby animal shelter, giving them a flyer with his picture and all our contact details. We searched for a few day, close to a week when we got a call from my sister in law. A friend of hers who works at the local animal shelter said my dog was brought in the day before and instead of notifying us the shelter put him in the system and had 2-3 people set up to view and possibly adopt him. We showed up right when they opened demanding our dog and thankfully we got him back. I was so mad at them for trying to sell my dog out from under me like that but apparently they do it all the time.

I remember when I was young and my family were 7-Eleven franchisees we would hop in our truck and chase down people that would steal stuff from our store. Was kind of an invigorating experience for a 6 year old. 😂

Of course police will warn against how dangerous this is, but won't do a damn thing to find them in the first place. When I was robbed I found out who did it, where my stuff was, and where he was hiding all within a few days. You think the cops would have ever found my stuff? No. Not even a small chance.

I had dog tracker on my dogs collar and the thief threw it away HOWEVER, I sewed one into her harness and when I found her, I dropped kicked her and gave her street justice. AND when ppl realized she stole my dog bc I was hysterically crying- they said she attacked me first. Ppl don’t get that dogs mean everything to ppl. She was given to me to cope with my 9/11 trauma & was my first puppy. My hubs had to pull me off bc I think I would’ve killed her. I hate thieves. They’re low life’s who don’t want to work for anything.

I restored a 260Z when I was 20, and someone stole it while I was at work at Circuit City. I found it that same day about half a mile down the street because I put a fuel kill switch and a locking gas cap on it, so they thought they ran out of gas.

There needs to be a police team in every city that leaves things out with AirTags in them to see who steals them. They would catch thieves on a daily, if not hourly, basis.

How crazy... The last story happening to one of my neighbors on Next-door and I can tell you that our police DO NOT respond to ANY of our calls. This isn't the first story out of San Jose. This is one of many that don't get air time. People have tracked down their vehicles to homeless encampments.

I have a certain evil way of retaliating against dog thieves, child molesters and predators. I have massive amounts of personal information belonging to these monsters stored on my computer. Whenever I come across scammers on social media, I just randomly copy a huge chunk of this data and then send it to the scammer with a nice message explaining how they can lure these monsters in and drain them.
