From a v early age,I insisted on paying my own fees etc even though my dad was a doctor.So also my daughter....paid her way n supported herself by paying for her pg n all other expenses ....even though we could have managed to foot her bills....There is a sense of self-respect when we manage on our own,plus with every step,large doses of confidence, deeper understanding of how to manage on our own etc etc are instilled in us..
