I became Sabrina's fan after emails I can't send was released, but I had heard her name many times before that, heard some of her bangers like 'sue me', 'thumbs', or 'on my way', and also knew about 'girl meets world' and had watched a few episodes of it as a kid. She is far from an industry plant, idk why people like to disregard their hard work just like that. Honestly when it comes to Sabrina, i noticed people hate on her so easily. They claim that she has no range while only listening to espresso, yet she has songs like eics, skinny dipping, opposite, how many things that showcases her vocals and range as an artist. The industry plant label is hilarious because this girl has been doing music for 10 years😂 On top of that she was acting on Disney channel doing voice acting for Sofia the First, acting on girl meets world and adventures in babysitting, sung a theme song for Andi mack and some of her songs like cant blame a girl for trying, smoke and fire, thumbs, on purpose were always playing during Disney's commercial break. On top of that FIVE albums before she went to mainstream with espresso. This woman was working for years and now her hardwork is finally paying off. I've also noticed that she continues to prove people wrong, alot of her haters from 3 years ago claims that she'll never be mainstream, but now look at her now. She managed to reach her first number #1, has a sold out arena tour and she is now having hits.

It seems like people forget how big the music industry is. There are thousands of underrated artists out there who have been making music for years but don’t get the attention that they deserve, and Sabrina was one of those artists who use to be underrated who always had the talent and the potential to be big as an artists but was held back because of her old record label which a lot these underrated artists tend to go through it just funny how quick people want to call an artist an industry plant but don't bother to research and see that they had already a full career just not mainstream attention

My bestfriend and I used to sing thumbs by Sabrina all the time in 5th grade, back in 2017. I’ve been a fan since. People don’t realize that anyone who was watching Disney, knows how much her music was being promoted during comercial breaks. Especially that one song, ‘Why’ and ‘can’t blame a girl for trying.’ That lead to many of us GMW fans to actually go listen to the songs she was putting out. And she gained a very loyal cult following. I think that what they mean with the term “industry plant” is the fact that Sabrina’s label is trying to establish her as a main pop girl with excessive use of autoplay, etc. They are basically forcing her music on people. Her recent rise to pop-stardom is anything but organic. I don’t blame them though. At the end of the day it’s all about money. Her label has an ownership stake in Spotify and has the connections to manipulate her streams and make her number #1. Why wouldn’t they take advantage of it? It’s probably the reason why the acquired an ownership stake in Spotify to begin with. They can control the streams, favor the artists that are signed to their label, push them to the top of the charts, and make a lot of money in the process, specially when it is time for touring. She is talented but it is clear that her recent success is being mostly carried by inorganic practices. If the stream manipulation continues, she will most likely become the 4th artist in history to reach 100M monthly listeners. Think about it, within 6 months, Sabrina’s has gone from 35M listeners to 85M monthly listeners and the album is not even out yet. The manipulation is pretty obvious.

I don't even like these girls' music, but calling Sabrina and Chappel industry plants or nepo babies is not even close to being true.
