He's very sweet and thoughtful! Bless his heart. BUT I'm a little concerned as so should be the nurses from that unit because as much as those babies need love and human touch, their immune system is not fully developed. Elderly people can be very dangerous to infants but especially sick ones, elderly can carry virus' like Shingles or other contagious things and not even have any symptoms. NICUs' usually have really strict protocols they have to follow regarding who enters there. Even those healthy in there have to wash really well and put on shoe covers, body robes, gloves and face masks just to be safe. 😷
