Look at the AR40C's, those were the wheels I was originally meant to receive.

What are your thoughts on the X1s so far? I've been enjoying mine in 45mm. Previously I was riding the SS and SK in a 38.
@GravelCyclist6 ай бұрын
Not to post a spoiler, they feel faster vs the SK's that I typically ride in 43mm. Like you, I am loving the 45mm X1's. I have a set of X1 R's in 45mm to mount up shortly, which are the lightest option. I'll be posting my review of both X1 variants, hopefully late July?

@@GravelCyclist awesome! I've noticed overall improvement in my speed (even on climbs). I was able to dry mount mine on Hunt 35-X wheel a floor pump with very little effort.

It's absolutely not worth it for this kind of money. New DT Swiss GRC 1100 DICUT for €2,500 1:52 It looks like the spokes in the center are bent, should they be routed upwards? Very narrow rims. On the road I have an inner 25 mm by 45 mm

@@GravelCyclist No, of course. It's about the rationality of purchasing these and the rationality of using them in gravel

@@pej0s Definitely a hard sell for many riders, I understand. I was supposed to receive the AR40C wheels for this review, which are equally expensive.

100%, hooked rims get my wallet share.
@GravelCyclist6 ай бұрын
Indeed, I 100% do not trust hookless rims for higher pressure pavement-going applications. With that said, I have had good luck with lower pressure gravel tyres, but I understand everyone's misgivings.

What’s wrong with the pool?

Nothing. Initial scenes from early in the year, $hit ton of leaves fell into the pool. Cleaned out later. Thanks for your concern.

Which is relatively narrow by road standards circa 2024, which these wheels are really intended for.
