@@wodm If you check Ebay, you can see the items that have been sold. In my region, folks are buying an RTX 2080ti for about 50% off their store price. So, enough to where the seller can use the money for a RTX 3080 (even after Ebay takes their cut). That's a fricken huge price cut. Thankfully, folks who are selling the 2080 Super are having a better time of it, with only a 20/30% off the store price.

Having multiple monitors really does help in most cases, but any crap card from the past dozen years should be good enough. My Intel GMA (released in 2008) was more than enough for everything I needed to do. Even today I'm still using the same chipset, with multimonitor, in a relatively large Zoom meeting and running a few web apps. I only get maybe 5fps when viewing a screen share but I don't know if Zoom's always like that or not. AFAIK Intel iGPUs have really improved in each major generation after that, so that excuse doesn't really hold up. If your system is powerful enough for 1080p KZbin chances are it's powerful enough 1080p video classes.

My PC has a Ryzen 5 3400g with the issue of no discrete gpu, but vega 11 is good enough, however it comes with 8gb 2666mhz ram, but it has an ssd instead of an hdd all of this paired with an ASROCK A320M. It supports 3200mhz memory, but i'm pretty sure out of the box the 3400g only supports 2733mhz at max with no overclocking. is that true? Should I upgrade my cpu?

CrocGator 369 I don’t believe that cause the other day I was playing my PC and visually noticed I was dropping frames on R6, which I usually get around 140 for. I do think there is a max the human eye can see, but it’s not 60. I tested this out and the point at which I stopped noticing much of a difference was 90-100 frames.
